Founded in 2007, B. Rust Architecture + Design is dedicated to the design and production of high-end custom homes and renovations throughout the greater Chicago area. We strive to maintain the highest level of design integrity while balancing the context and character of the community and remaining strictly within budget.
Our projects have been recognized for several design awards including the 2008 Wilmette Historic Preservation Award for New Construction. Brant Rust received his Bachelors in Architecture (BSAS) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999. In addition, Brant spent two semesters studying design at the cole nationale suprieure d'architecture de Versailles just outside of Paris, France.
There, he traveled throughout Europe to examine countless architectural landmarks. Ever since, Brant's designs have displayed a distinctive sensibility, drawing inspiration from the minute detail of masonry and stonework as well as the large-scale, beautification masterpieces of Parisian zoning and urban planning.
