I hired NC Roofing to fix a nagging problem with my roof. It was actually the flashing that was done improperly when previous homeowners put on a new roof. The front of the house has that faux stone and there was moisture all behind it and it was leaking in the basement below. We tried EVERYTHING to fix this leak. We patched a hole in the stone we found and that didn't work. We added a diverter to the roof too but nada. We had the gutters in that area replaced with larger ones. Nope, still leaked. We even dug a small well and placed a pump thinking it was the ground water causing it but no such

NC Roofing and Repairs replaced our hail-damaged roof in September 2020. We found Tim and his crew overall unprofessional and mediocre.
While the experience started out very professional, with Tim being very communicative and pursuant of our business, once things were rolling, insurance payment approved, and estimates signed, our experience began to degrade. Communication from Tim at this point were limited to 1-2 line emails, and was unreliable. We could no longer trust him as a professional. Some specific things that happened along the way as examples:

We had a great experience working with Tim. We noticed a small leak after a heavy rain and contacted Tim first thing the next morning. He was at our house later that day and diagnosed the problem. 3 days later, he came with his crew to fix the issue. Very responsive, very easy to work with, and a very fast solution to our problem.

I'm glad to see that some of you have a had a good experience with Tim. I too was impressed by his expertise with roofing issues. I had contacted Tim to complain about a leak in the house and he determined that the chimney had to be repaired which he did at a modest cost. However the leak continued after a subsequent rainstorm and I contacted Tim. He indicated he would return that evening to determine the root cause. He didn't show up. I tried calling him several times since and left messages but he has not returned my calls. I hate writing a bad review but at this point I have no choice as I don

- The quote was very thorough and listed everything that was included (over a page long). One company just gave me a verbal estimate
- I got 3 references from Tim, all gave me stellar recommendations
- Quote was competitive
- Job was scheduled very quickly, and work was done by a crew of 7 in about 6 hours.
- Job well done and good clean-up.
