[UPDATE] Tree limb that was a concern and highlighted in a reply email broke off.

We had multiple trees trimmed for the price of $3,500 and they removed a lot with a big crew in one day. They cleaned up all of the trimmed tree branches and had professional equipment. We were satisfied at the time and were dealing with a lot of other house issues and weren't able to look at the work in depth.
Two months later and we are running into some issues. We had a big split from the canopy of a tree and that cost us another $1,000 to remove from another company.

We used Trees by Jake the last week in October. My yard is heavily wooded and "natural." They removed three very large trees that died from our freezing time, raised the canopy on several others, and trimmed many more. I was amazed at how pristine everything was when they left. Jake and his team are professional from start to finish. He came out twice to evaluate the job (and was on time both times by the way) and estimates were sent promptly. Any emails with questions were returned the same day. Our job required a large crane and his team was on top of the process, even building pads for the feet of the crane so there was no damage. All of his people were professional and they came with all the proper equipment and enough workers to make sure the job was finished that day and done safely. Trees by Jake was able to safely trim a large tree in a confined area without being able to climb it. Other services said it could not be done without climbing. Jake personally went over the game plan with the crew before they started. The entire process from the first call with Allison to the completed job was very efficient. The crew of two men were skilled professionals. They also found a robin's nest in one of the cut branches and returned the branch to the tree crook and the birds found it. This company delivered as advertised.

Trees by Jake has been our "go to" company for tree trimming and removal for many years. We first used Trees by Jake in the heavily treed Warrenton neighborhood when he used a "Ford-150, a trailer and a chainsaw". Had an estimate done to have broken limbs removed and any limbs over my house removed. I specifically said I wanted all limbs removed that were hanging over my house. The estimator said okay and gave me a quote. I agreed and had it scheduled. They came out while I was at work and my wife was at home. My wife did not know what all was supposed to be done, so once they finished she paid them. When I got home I noticed Trees by Jake removed the broken limbs but only removed two of the limbs above the roof line but left most of those two branches hanging above my roof.
