Its founder and co-owner Joel Alvarado has over 23 years of experience in the painting industry. In 2005 Joel decided to start his own business to provide high quality services and competitive prices to all customers in the greater Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.

In 2014, they were selected to participate in the makeover of Ellicott City's Historic Main Street. As well, DPS annually sponsors our local church-based events.

Our staff has been trained in the application of eco-friendly products, and is EPA certified in handling removal of lead paint to ensure safety for you and your family or customers.

Joel made an excellent impression when he came to give an estimate, which was competitive with another contractor who gave an estimate as well as with our expectations. The crew was very professional, did excellent work in a timely fashion. The quality of the work was outstanding. When I called about the porch sealing, which I hadn't seen being done, they got back to me immediately and pointed out that it had been done.
