This building was. Weeks Fields Estate - a project entailing the construction of 2 separate 4 story apartment buildings. Each 33,000 square foot building includes 28. Hering Auditorium Upgrade - a technically and logistically complicated renovation including upgrades and/or renovations of stage lighting and auditorium.

G2 Construction, Inc. possesses a wide range of documented design build experiences from small office space remodels to simultaneous multi-million dollar projects. Formed in 2001, G2 Construction, Inc. has quickly grown into an elite Fairbanks commercial contractor, completing at least one design build project a year since 2006.

G2 Construction, Inc has extensive experience with taking an owner's design concepts and project requirements and turning these into a reality. We do this with the help of an experienced and creative design team, reliable subcontractors and a highly skilled local workforce that have worked with us for many years.

G2 Construction, Inc. was originally formed, and is owned and operated by Paul Gitschel. Paul has over 20 years of construction experience and has performed the duties of Project Manager on most of our recent design build projects including the Best Western Chena River Lodge, the Airport Way Professional Building and Pogo Mine Storage facility.
The employees of G2 Construction are our most valuable assets. It is our policy to provide safe and healthy working conditions at all job sites and during all phases of construction to best protect our employees. Using OSHA Regulations and Guidelines as a base standard, G2 Construction's documented safety program serves as our Safety Officer's template for new hire training and on-site safety protocols.
At G2 Construction we understand that planning and controls built into the schedule, and ultimately building a quality product makes good business sense. As part of our continuing effort to develop a reliable QC Program we have adopted the "Three Phase Control System" for all projects. Meetings - As part of the Three Phase Control System each definable feature of work entails a Preparatory Meeting and an Initial Phase Meeting.
I am a Project Manager with General Services Administration. The projects at GSA range in magnitude, complexity and durations. Our primary line of business is renovation work. Those of the industry understand the challenging dynamic's involved and skill sets required performing renovation work. With that being said, it is with great pleasure that I prepare reference comments of behalf of G2 Construction.
G2 Construction, Inc. has a current bond capacity of $12 million per individual project, with a cumulative capacity of $20 million. Our bonding company, The Hartford Company, has shown a willingness to increase our bond capacity as needed. We have completed over $20 million worth of work in a year's time and feel comfortable that our capacity will continue to grow in the coming years as part of our strategic growth plans.
