Sloppy perimeter weed whacking, left clumps everywhere, stripes of long grass, promised to address and nothing changed, looking for a service again. They did come out and look at the lawn and did a proper cut for the last week of the season. Still not able to recommend or continue using big lakes for next season.

WE just had Aeration service done, and I have to say it was done very well. WE have Luke as our service person and he was super nice attentive when I was showing him where not to roll over due to new sod installation. Everything was done perfectly. If you have a choice get Luke for your service !!

The service is always erratic and each time they cut the grass it's done a different way because the teams are always switching up and they all aren't sure what to do because they obviously have mixed communication between the lawn teams. Only once was my lawn done amazing and it looked just like their advertisement every other time I my as well paid my nephew $20 to cut it because the Lawn was cut in all directions and I always have things that are broken and/or chopped down accidentally by the weed whacker kid so, I am currently in search of a new lawn company!

They provide excellent service with grass cutting as well as fertilization and weed control. We preferred having everything under one umbrella done by one company like this. They are always available on phone for professional assistance. Some weeks the grass doesn’t grow long enough to be cut, the guys come over and suggest that we don’t. I mean who does that, they could as well cut and make money instead. But they keep the customer informed about the condition and make it look better after every service! I’m super impressed. Such a great local and small business to hire and support.

This company did a landscaping project at the front of our house that included some sod installation. The plants they brought were in excellent condition and looked beautiful! They were VERY professional in every way and accommodated our requests promptly. The staff were all very kind and they cleaned up the area very well when they were done with the project. Chemical burns all over on our neighborhood common areas and our neighbor's lawn (hired for their own yard). They told them "it's due to a rough winter and aggressive weed treatment. It'll recover.

I hired Big Lakes for snow removal service and instructed them not to use salt or damaging products because it causes cement pops. I told them I would take care of it with non-corrosive material. Yet they threw a pile of staining blue product in one spot on my porch. On two occasions they came to clear snow that was obviously two hours from complete melt and gouged my entire driveway with their plow. For the last couple of years, I had been using another lawn care service for spring cleanup, fall cleanup and regular mowing throughout the summer season. This year I decided to change and selected big lakes lawn care. Their spring cleanup service was excellent. The two-man crew who arrived, walked my property with me and paid attention as I pointed out the cleanup requirements. We used Big Lakes Lawn care last summer and they did a great job. This summer we decided to use them again. This summer seems like they had different employees. They were coming out cutting our grass weekly. The problem came when they cut the grass and it was wet and the movers would leave mud tracks all in our yard. Also every place that their mover would turn in our grass it would leave skid marks. The grass would also be super low in those spots where the mover turned. My husband called and complained and was told they would ensure it didn't happen again. Yet the next coupe times they cut

I have never dealt with a company with such bad communication than this one. Lawn work is ok at best, but most definitely not worth $39 a week. They broke a garden light and after my complaint 3 weeks ago ive still heard nothing back. I tried contacting them last week to ask them to do a shorter cut on the lawn again no response. So as of today i left a message canceling my service. I do NOT recomend this company to anyone. Horrible smh

Nice folks and the owner Chester seemed to want to do a good job however after too many times of cutting our lawn wet and the cutting crew not being able to use judgement to not cut when wet we cancelled and will cut ourselves. I even brought another crew in to redo the sub par spring clean up that we were overcharged for. Sad to say but I agree $39.97 is too high for service to cut.

We have used Big Lakes for about 2 years now and are extremely satisfied with the quality of work they provide. Chester and his team are very professional and hard working. We use them for weekly lawn service , bush trimming , weed removal in beds , mulch , aeration and sod installation. The pricing is reasonable and the team is always on schedule so our yard always looks great.
