David Yowell Construction (DYC) built our new home and did an outstanding job! The home has exceeded our expectations in all regards. Having built three houses previously and a major expansion on a fourth, the process with DYC far exceeded the others. DYC was very transparent and approachable throughout the building process. I am re posting this review and Yowell's rebuttal from the Better Business Bureau site. I tried to make my review shorter but it's still long, sorry!
I waited a long time to respond to David's rebuttal but it was so fabricated that it continued to bother me. See below...
After our house completely flooded while on vacation, we had a complete remodel done in 2015 and chose David because we had a previous relationship with him and trusted him. Unfortunately it turned out to be a terrible experience. Here's a bullet list of all the mishaps.

We first met David Yowell around 17 years ago when we contracted with him to build our first home. He built a quality and beautiful custom home with all the options we requested. After hearing all the horror stories about home building experiences, we were very nervous, but it was completed without any issues.
