Glacier Heating and Air is a medium sized company. We have intentionally stayed this size as it is easier to keep quality control at the highest levels in a medium sized company. Many companies are so large they lose control of their workers. We started in Montana in the mid 1970's. We were located in a little town on the Canadian border, Thus our motto "WE WERE BORN IN THE COLD".

We were new to the area and called a local HVAC to maintenance our heat pump. We used this company - for the first and last time. They replaced a capacitor on the unit - in addition to some other work from a clean up perspective. We noticed noise last Friday afternoon - called them Saturday - no answer, not able to leave a message. We called again on Monday and were told that we were 1 DAY past our 1 year warranty. A DAY - so they would send someone out for a price - when they could. We went to Amazon and paid less then 1/3 of the price for the same - brand new - capacitor. We will change it ourselves

I have used Glacier twice in the last 6 months. One for repairing broken thermostat & recently for replacing AC capacitor. Both times Andy was on time, worked in a timely manner, was polite, wore shoes covers when entering. Service fees within reason. He also had a mask but didn't use since we kept our distance. Would call again if I had any problems with heater/cooler in my townhouse.

It took over 4 calls with each call being promised a call back to even get an appointment. After the set up an appointment to come look and give an estimate they never showed. We set time aside from our schedule to have them come and they didn't come and never called to tell us what was up. I left a voicemail following up with them. The only reason I keep calling back if they were highly recommended to me for honesty and price but that doesn't matter if they don't show or ever call you back.

I've used them 3 times now. Once to install an ac unit, once for a check up and once for a repair and check up at our new house. Not only are they the most reasonably priced Ac company I have found but also top notch customer service. I cant say enough good things about them and will only use them for all my AC needs.
