Cobra Tree Service was founded 28 years ago in the wake of the 1994 Memphis Ice Storm. Founder BIll Robinson III is a native of Memphis. Bill has a Commercial pilots license and flew Multi-engine aircraft and Helicopters for Whirlybird Helicopters back in the late sixties, seventies and eighties. He flew for numerous corporations which included NBC News, CBS News, TV-5, TV-3, The United States Corps of Engineers and the Federal Game Wardens, etc.
Cobra Tree Service takes care of you even in the winter time with our snow removal service. We help clear your parking lots and driveways of snow. If the weather man predicts snow and you think you would like to have that snow removed from your parking lot or driveway, call us as soon as you can so we can put you on the snow removal list.
Never pay a Tree person in advance for Tree work before the job is completed and inspected by you. We will never ask you for money up front or close to the end of the job. We will only ask for payment after we have completely finished the work you hired us to do. Even if you are not home when we finish, we will not let you pay the bill in advance.
Our main phone number is 454-7772 and if you need to send us a text or picture you can call 550-4470 which is Bill Robinson's cell number. Both these numbers will get Bill Robinson on the phone. We do not use any type of voice mail systems so it is very easy to get us on the phone. Our business hours are 24 hours a day but we normally work during the day light hours unless we are working on a emergency job that requies us to work at night.

I worked with Cobra getting my backyard cleared of trees this past spring. The work they did was adequate. I was satisfied. However, problems arose after the work was completed. While working they damaged my internet line. Under normal circumstances this would not be a huge issue but Covid has changed that. I was working from home and essentially had no internet for days. I got a simple text apology. Nothing else. Months later I get a bill from ATT for the damages. I texted Cobra multiple times. Left a voicemail. Sayle has removed trees for us on more than one occasion. All of them were in places close to our house where any error could have caused considerable damage. He took them out efficiently with no damage. He was even careful with the plantings under them. He also has equipment which allows him to prune and thin limbs which could not be reached otherwise. We will call him again and yes, his price is good in comparison with other services.

Placed plywood down so equipment didn’t damage lawn. Used protective equipment for himself and his employees. Made honest suggestions on what to do and not to do to my trees. Great service.
