This place is a hidden gem! CUSTOMER SERVICE! COSTUMER SERVICE! CUSTOMER SERVICE! From the minute me and my wife walked in. we were greeted by the staff. Store was not crowded and service was the best. Spent over an hr with the Carlos "the stroller guy" (not sure if that's his real name lol) but he showed us all the models, pros and cons of each and demoed each of them opening and folding them. GUY KNOWS HIS STROLLERS! I cannot explain how great shopping was here. Do yourself a favor skip buy buy baby and head here you won't regret it! And ask for Carlos!

DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!
Came in with my pregnant wife and my dog, when the manager of the store came to the front as soon as we opened the door to tell us we could not come in because of the dog. We let her know he is a registered Service dog to her reply "that does not matter, he is too big, but one of you can enter the store without him". We decided to turn around and leave. This is a highly illegal response and the store manager should be better prepared to handle situations of this sort.
I will not buy a single product from this store for my son to be.

I was looking for a specific item today, I called many baby stores only to find rude and difficult sales people on the other end. Then I finally called Ideal Baby in Doral (boy I wish I called here first). I spoke with Yesenia on the phone... she was polite and efficient, she held the item I was looking for, for me. When I arrived in the store, she greeted me with a big smile and was very accommodating during my visit. George was also quite helpful, in fact the whole team was very attentive and warm.
I wil definitely return to this store for all my baby needs!

Very unhappy with the return policy. I had purchased a Guayabera for my son unfortunately we were unable to use it. I had gone back to the store the next day to return the shirt and get a refund since we do not have any other use for it. They refused to give a refund but only store credit which I have no use for. On the receipt didn't specify a store credit .

Talk about horrible customer service. We went in to see a crib set, the owners son agreed to include the changing pad in the price. Went back the day we said to pick it up and the sales associate was rude and combative. What kind of service is this. Especially arguing with a customer and a pregnant lady. That's not cool. It had nothing to do with the cost but everything to do with principal. You dont treat customers this way. Especially not when we drove this car for a crib.

The people at the shoe side do not know much about shoes. I inquired about some nice shoes and I looked at the mini melissa. I informed the guy that it's for every day use. He stated that those sandals are for special events. I went to Nordstrom and they informed me that I can even wash it in the washer. I purchased the shoes there. I think the guy at la ideal goes by what the item cost instead what it can be used for. On a brighter note the store sells Mayoral dresses.

BE CAREFUL! I purchased a crib with an attached changer and matching chest for my babies room. I paid the store to have their drivers deliver and build the crib. The crib doesn't fit nicely in the room, it's a little crowded so I called the store wondering if they had an exchange policy. The lady was SO rude with her words and lack of explanation. Honestly, this is the last thing a woman that's nine months pregnant needs. Apparently this store doesn't have an exchange policy, even if their own drivers built the crib and I called the SAME day. Honestly, they've lost a customer and I wouldn't recommend

This is the worse baby store! They have horrible customer service. I purchased and overpriced bedroom set and was promise it would arrive 4/21. The bedroom set arrived however they did not bring the crib and dresser drawers were broken. I called and they told me they would fix the drawers when the crib would come and they said that it would arrive mid May. I called to get an update, because I had not heard from them... they told me the crib would not arrive until June and at that point they would fix the dresser drawers. Again I called in June and they told me they were still on back order. I was

If you are young or look young honestly BEWARE! I went to this store with my two kids and was literally followed around the whole store but there was older people opening up sealed packages but they were more focused on what I was holding in my hand than anything else. I will never go to this store again! I was harassed and discriminated because of my age and young appearance. Leave this store to the older people just go to BuyBuy Baby they make you feel welcomed not uncomfortable like the people at this store. Even the manager in the store was rude when I confronted the situation.

Horrible experience. Went in to buy a car seat , was not in stock at the moment. Was told originally it would take 3-4 weeks to come in- I told them never mind because that would be too close to my due date. The sales lady speaks to the manager and they tell me they can have it in two weeks- i agreed and paid the full price.
Call today- it's been more than two weeks haven't heard back from them. Now they are telling me it will take an additional two weeks.
Is this ridiculous or what. Absolutely no shame. These people will lie to you just to get a sale. Now I'm stuck waiting.. & possibly having

I can't stop saying good things about my experience at Ideal Baby & Kids, or "La Ideal", as I grow up knowing them. They are a specialty store, so please don't go in thinking you are going to be in a Babies R Us or Buy Buy Baby, as they are not - and I prefer that. I don't want to deal with huge crowds or waiting 15 minutes for someone to come and help me find something. Our main registry was at this store, and we have since recommended all of our friends to stay well away. The store is disorganized and overpriced. They promise online registry management; however, we registered for items both online and in person, and the items scanned in-person cannot be removed from the registry online, so you have to go back to the store. The registry items don't update timely, and we received many duplicate gifts that you can only return - 100% unopened - for store credit. The in-store registry and online registry also do not match - many items we had scanned in-store

This place is a perfect example of what's wrong with 90% of businesses in Miami. No customer service skills whatsoever! I recommend going to any other place, i went to Babies R' Us and the staff there was incredibly helpful but that's another review. I wont blab on about my horrible experience just take my word for it. If you don't like to save money, enjoy being treated bad, and rushed while you shop. I recommend going to this store!

The return policy at Ideal baby store is absolutely ridiculous. We were given a pack and play that we listed on our registry. After opening the box and looking at the actual pack and play we decided that it wasn't comfortable to put the baby in or take her out. So, we decided to exchange it. When we took it back to the ideal baby on 12 Ave. and Flagler they said they couldn't accept it because the box was not in it's original condition. Which I think it's ridiculous because after opening anything that was in a package it will never be in it's original form again. We

Who on EARTH would register here? Really? My experience with trying to find the items on the list was ridiculous. Hard to find, no customer service to speak of and yes, the items were very overpriced.
After taking forever in this disorganized mess I finally got someone to help me find the items and alas!! They were scattered all over in places you never would have thought and yes, many things were mislabeled.
I decided to go elsewhere ignoring the list and knowing as a two time mom that everyone will eventually appreciate a huge lot of diapers, wipes and items that they will actually use over

There is nothing ideal about La Ideal.
I went to buy a gift from a baby registry this past weekend.
The store is cluttered and not easy to navigate. Most of the items on the registry were misspelled, and some had the wrong brand. We had to search around the store to match the bar code numbers to those on the registry.
The store is very unorganized. A lot of the items are misplaced, and some of them dirty (disgusting!).
The staff is about as useless as the English language in that store. They are of NO help with finding registry items. Several employees were standing around socializing, yelling
