When we called and asked for a quote, the owner, Mike Walsh, came promptly to meet with us. He was right on time, very professional, an excellent listener and assessed our needs perfectly. He was quick in submitting his quote.
In dealing with Kristen, the office manager, her prompt and courteous responses were exceptional.
We had two jobs, back to back and both crews arrived when expected and made every effort to keep the dust to a minimum.
Their workmanship is exceptional and our 68 year old oak flooring looks brand new. Couldn’t ask for a better company to work with.

From the initial estimate through the conclusion of the project, the team at Walsh Hardwood Flooring was excellent! They salvaged and completely transformed our hardwood floors that were covered in scratches and pet urine from the prior owner. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through each step of the project. Absolutely love the finished result!

Walsh performed a miracle here taking a dining room and office with 2.5" red oak hardwood that had a cherry stain from 1998 with a hallway in between them that had tile and 4" red oak natural finish kitchen at the other end of the hall. They sanded all floors, added new Hardwood perfectly matching and feathering in 2.5" to connect 2 rooms and sand through so you would never know that there was no hardwood floor down the hall connecting the rooms, got rid of all four thresholds - is smooth as can be. This is the 2nd house we have had them work for us and i don't get quotes when i need hardwoods

I'm a year late on my review, but better late than never! I bought my house over a year ago and the upstairs floors and stairs needed a lot of love. I found Walsh because they were just around the corner and after reading reviews decided to choose them and I am very glad I did! The price was extremely competitive and they were incredibly quick. All in all, it was under a month from first contact to the complete project. Walsh came in and removed some ugly linoleum and plywood from one of the rooms, sanded and refinished my floors and installed stained quarter round in all the areas. Over a year

Walsh Hardwood Flooring provided me with the best experience I could have asked for. I was moving into a new home and was hoping to get new flooring put in and sanding and standing of other existing hardwood floors. Mike came quickly to give me an estimate. He then worked really hard to get my job completed before I moved in. This is unheard of during these times of massive home remodeling. His crew was prompt, professional and skilled. I would highly recommend Walsh Hardwood Flooring. The employees treated my house like it was their own. Very respectful. They did a great job of cleaning up after all of the dust associated with sanding. They were punctual (even arrived ahead of my scheduled appointment). Reasonably priced. A pleasure to work with! Was happy to support a local Delaware County business.

I had a complaint at the transition/doorway.
I had called and emailed several times to have this addressed. They did call back to say they were trying to get someone over.
After waiting 2 weeks with no response, I posted a complaint here and received a scheduled appointment. They came as promised.
The original installation was within 5 days of the promised date.
To be fair, they did everything they promised in the beginning.
The complaint item drug on too long until resolution but they did honor their work.
The staff and Owner were all courteous and professional.
I would use them again.
