We are a tree service company who specializes in Storm damage and insurance tree removal. We offer services in stump grinding, tree removal and tree trimming. We love to work in an outside environment and have been working hard for a long time, it's something that's bred into me I think. I cut split and delivered by hand over 1000 cords of firewood in a year by myself which developed into salvaging trees for firewood.

Hate to leave a 1 star review to a local business but we have been calling and emailing them more times than I can count.
After trying to contact them multiple times myself with no response, my husband reached out. The next day, a guy showed up without scheduling and checked out the trees and gave us a verbal quote but we never received a proposal via email. We called multiple times to obtain a proposal to no avail. I called again two weeks later and their office said they will reach out. A couple of days later, a random guy pulled up in an RV, walked through our front yard and checked out all

We just used North Woods Tree Service for the second time. We first connected with them a couple years ago through Angies List and confirming positive reviews. The current service they provided, like the first, was extremely professional by his entire team and the final results were exactly as we had requested. They also made sure before leaving the job site that it was cleaned up and left as they found it or better. I highly recommend this company!!

I called North Wood to see if they provided a wood chipping service. Daryl returned my call and explained they don’t provide this service, but he pointed me in the direction of those who do. Courteous, responsive and helpful shouldn’t be rare attributes in a business, but in my experience it’s rare to have someone return your call, much less take the time to help. If I ever need a tree service, guess who I’m calling first?

Came to my house to remove a dead tree that was probably 100 feet tall. They cut the tree down rather quickly and then even cut up the tree into pieces so that I can chop it to use as fire wood. Left all the pieces in one section of my back yard so that I could still use the rest. The guys that came were super nice and even cut down some dead branches off of my other trees!

Our neighbors really wanted us to trim up these 3 35' trees in our backyard after buying the house
We called up the crew at North Woods and they came out, even during Covid, and it looks so much better
They even shaped up our other trees (ornamentals) in the front yard as part of the deal

I needed a very wide 70-foot tall tree removed in the back yard due to rot and disease. This was a huge job and needed someone who knew everything about taking down a tree that size with complete safety in mind. I decided to hire North Woods Tree Service after getting several estimates and also having a friend recommend North Woods. This tree was not only tall, but also very wide. It was rotting and due to its close vicinity to lots of buildings, removal needed to be done carefully. Daryl North and his crew did a fantastic job, ensuring that no property or vehicles were damaged in the process

Rodger came and “removed” the stump from my yard after he quoted me $350 and then changed the quote upon arrival to $450. I should have gone through his work but I didn’t notice until later that big, thick tree roots were left untouched. Why did I pay him more than the quote to have a half-finished job done. This is unacceptable to me.

I can't say enough good things about Daryl and his crew. Great communication! Very professional and conscientious every step of the way. Extremely kind and courteous, careful and respectful of property as well. Much appreciated! Will definitely use their services again if needed. *As aside story-We had spent months watching a family of crows raise their little ones and teach them to fly from a nest perched high atop our old Birch so, the nest was a sentimental save for us, I doubt many would have been so thoughtful as to preserve it for us.

I recently received a lot of tree debris(wood chips from this company. The driver was the owner of the company. He was very courteous and did a great job in placing his load right where we wnted it to be located. I am sure they are verry good at their tree removal business too. Look them up the next time you need tree trimming or storm damage debris removal.

We had a tree leaning in our backyard that needed to be removed. Daryl responded very quickly to our inquiry, came out to do an estimate that day, and the tree was out just a day later. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up everything so well you wouldn't even have know they'd been there. The price was very reasonable, Daryl was easy to reach and had great communication with us. We couldn't be happier with the services they provided and will definitely be using them again for any future tree services.
