So happy that we found Nela Locksmith! My daughter was locked out of her room and we have a cat with new born kittens in her room needing to be fed, so it was an emergency. Luis came immediately and took great care to fix two locks that had major problems and not just with the locks but also with the doors. Accidentally locked myself out of my apartment after traveling all week. Could not find anyone to immediately change my locks, except for NELA. They came within 10 minutes, late at night, and had my lock changed with new keys in hand in 20 minutes. Amazing service. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with the technician Luis. He showed up within an hour of phone call. To make a long story short, my vehicle was problematic. This did not deter him in the least. Kept at it without complaint until he succeeded. The end price of the job didn't come close in reflecting the effort he put into it. I made a lucky choice on which company to choose from Google search. Highly recommend.

Not a good experience for me and will never use these guys again. You call the main number and they outsource your job to independent contractor locksmiths. Firstly, the guy they sent to me damaged my lock and now my door keys work inconsistently when I try to unlock my door and secondly he charged me $200 to unlock my front door!!!! Too expensive for inferior work and when I called to get the guy to return to recheck the lock, he promised me he would come by but he never showed up.
Need a locksmith call York Lock & Key. Learn from my mistake!

Our neighbors, who are sweet older ladies, were locked outside their apartment late at night on Easter Sunday and came to us for help. My girlfriend and I would occasionally help them with simple household work like fixing a cabinet door or changing a lightbulb on their ceiling, but picking a lock was clearly outside our skill set. Good work & reasonable pricing. I got a re-key job done a few weeks back when my keys became compromised. If you ever leave your keys hanging on door and the go missing, call these guys and get a re-key if possible or new lock if it can't be changed. I also suggest getting building maintenance to re-key it again during normal business hours so they have a copy (per my lease they need to re-key). Good work, fast job and it's worth spending a few bucks for peace of a mind and security. Thanks a lot!

So so so informative, honest and helpful. All I really wanted was a quote honestly. I wanted to knowHow much it would cost to re-key a dead bolt lock. You see I had lost my keys and felt a little paranoid about them floating out there. I had a key from an old apartment that didn't go to anything any longer and I knew that I could have the pins in the dead bolt swapped out to fit a this key. So basically I just needed to bring the lock to a locksmith to make the old lock match a new key. I was technically looking for a store front to take the lock to.
