The Paster name has been a part of the Los Angeles construction industry since 1948, when Frank Paster began building homes and apartments in West Los Angeles. In 1964, the focus shifted to building and remodeling homes in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood, and Malibu. Gary Paster earned his contractor's license in 1974 and joined his father in business.
Five years later Barry Paster earned his contractor's license, and shortly after, in 1981, Paster Construction, Inc. was formed between father and sons with the exclusive focus of building high quality custom homes. After Frank's retirement in 1988, Gary and Barry formed Paster Brothers Construction, or as it has come to be known, Paster Construction.
Our philosophy emphasizes the personal attention we consider necessary to produce distinctive custom work. Each of our projects is assigned an on-site project manager to handle all aspects of construction. In addition, Gary Paster personally oversees the project manager and spends significant time on site, meeting regularly with the client, architect, designer and/or other parties to review the progress of the work.
