Ray Sexton (owner) started painting at the age of 16 after school and during summer breaks. After high school, he attended Tennessee Wesleyan College where he began working with a commercial painting company over holidays and during summer break. After college Ray went to work with Whittle Communications as a Client Presentation Specialist but became unemployed at the beginning of Whittle's downfall.
