Our mission each day is to make your move as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I needed a bedroom set moved from my father's home on Long Island to my new home in New Jersey. Not only was their estimate fantastic, but they also did a wonderful job moving the furniture safely. I was amazed by their ability to get heavy pieces up two flights of stairs.
And, they assembled everything in no time. Daddy's Moving helped with a Connecticut to NYC move for my daughter's new apartment and were one of only a few companies available for a Sunday move. Their crew was wonderful-careful with every item and super efficient. They worked incredibly hard and tackled tricky NYC parking and 3 flights of stairs without issue.

Overall a really good experience...I'd say 4.5. I requested quotes from several companies and one or two initially came back lower...only to end up quoting me nearly double their initial offer. Having recently moved across the country, I knew that I had about 800 cubic feet of stuff to move which made things easy on both ends to anticipate what would be needed and how much it would cost. I ended up paying about $500 less than I was quoted from any other company to move my stuff from Brooklyn to Hudson NY. Needed a last minute moving company due to delays in the closing process of purchasing a house. When it finally happened it was near to the end of my apartment lease. Daddy's Moving to the rescue. They responded in minutes, and we're at my front door within a few days. Not one item was damaged as they were meticulous in their packaging and moving. They were very courteous and professional. Avoid at all cost. This owner is not experienced, competent, or communicative at all.
Things started out well with someone coming over to assess our items for the move and provide a quote. He was over an hour late, but communicated via text. Quote was merely a dollar amount and did not have ANY details or contractual information (e.g., no move out date, how many movers, foreman's info, delivery date, time windows, insurance information, etc.--nothing). When repeatedly asked for these additional details, owner promised to email them ASAP. Never did. Provided excuses and delays and never ended

The pros: they showed up perfectly on time (to the minute); they were nice enough and patient (they had to wait for my former landlord to do a walkthrough which added an hour to the bill).
The cons: took 12 hours to move 40 minutes away. It was a big job to be fair, but I had just two men move double the amount of furniture and easily 50 boxes from New York to New Jersey in less time; they were not careful with my boxes (I'm opening boxes up now to find things broken); they stacked up boxes almost to the ceiling (who does that?) and after I asked them not to; and I found out that a crate

Decided to give these people a try for my NJ to Philly move. They gave me a flat rate said all supplies, boxes, gas, tolls were included in this rate. I asked to see the contract ahead of time and they would not provide. The day of, they tell me boxes actually are not included in the rate. I tell him my prior agreement and he agreed to include the boxes in the flat rate. I had to pack everything myself while they disassembled my furniture. They were extremely professional and caring for my items and move. Total COVID safety observed. I did a rather shoddy job of packing, to say the least, and the team was very kind to advise on glass items that should be packed differently, taping and securing what I had not, assembly and reassembly I had not planned, etc. Highly recommend.

Had a quick and painless move from North Jersey to Brooklyn. I have to say that communication before the move was limited to getting a quote online and then some texts and one call. It was my first time hiring movers and this made me weary. They charge hourly, but they got from point a to be quickly and hustled at the end to finish quickly when they could have hit traffic or taken an extra 10-15 minutes and made some extra cash. As someone who grew up with hardworking small business owning parents I really appreciate their hustle. They were awesome! Would definitely hire these guys again and recommend
