SoutheastTree.com was the first company to contact me from my request through Angi. I was contacted by Lindsey within two hours, She was very personable and “on the ball.” Colin, the company owner and an arborist, came the following day, and his quote was reasonable, (versus the overcharge of several other quotes.) To remove trees in our area it is necessary to have a permit, which is not easily nor quickly obtainable. Lindsey called within three days to say she had the required permit!

We hired Southeasttree.com to remove some trees that were leaning over our neighbor’s home and located on a hill in addition to needing some tree pruning. The crew was excellent and very friendly. We all appreciated how safe and efficient they were while removing the problem trees. The cleanup and complete tree removal was great. Gave a very fair price for some difficult tree removal work (leaning over the house at a pretty severe degree). I had 4 full grown trees removed total. I got another quote from an off the books type guy who priced it double what southeast tree quoted me, and for only 3 of those trees. The Owner, Colin, is a trained arborist and was very helpful in identifying another tree that would give me issues down the road at my new home. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. These men were very professional, they worked quickly and efficiently. I felt they had the difficult situations well under control with the large trees over the house. They did more than I expected in terms of clean up. They left a very nice work area behind. I strongly recommend NOT to hire Colin for your next tree removal project. The price he quotes you and the work he suggests he will do is not correct. You will not get what's on paper, instead you'll a different price and the so call "free of charge small tree removal", dead wrong and a lie. Also, he doesn't have his crew clean up existing brush and branches as suggested in the estimate. His crew is messy and if it rains and they track mud everywhere, including on your siding - Colin will blame mother nature and has no intentions of cleaning up after his crew. I still have

What a pleasure it was to deal with Colin and his crew. We just moved into our new home which was in desperate need of tree removal and trimming. Colin came out on a Thursday to walk the property and give us a quote. By Friday the next day at 1pm the work was done. 4 trees removed and entire property heavily trimmed. The crew was amazing. I hired Colin, and his team, because I thought I was receiving a fair price, and he appeared to be very professional. Turns out it was a mistake. I paid him $1,700 in full before I saw the work (admittedly this was my mistake). They left huge craters in my lawn (over 7 feet in length) from dropping sections of tree. My lawn was completely destroyed, even though he told me they would put down boards to protect the grass. I also now have a stump with green spray paint on top of it because his stump grinder never removed a stump that I paid him to remove.

We have been working to resolve an issue with them for over a year. In essence a neighbor was having a tree cut and was told by the crew they would drop the tree on their property. Instead, the crew dropped the tree on our driveway. They did so without trimming the tree so when it hit the driveway, the weight caused a section where it hit to drop about an inch. We tried to work with the CEO Colin over the past year and even have a voicemail from him saying he would make it right. At one point, we had an appointment where we took off work to meet him and his concrete person...but they no-showed

The guys at Southeast Tree really worked with me when my neighbor changed their mind about letting us use their driveway to put equipment. It was really amazing to watch these guys work. Without the platform of my neighbor's driveway, the guys had to haul the branches up a steep hill but they were quick, they were amazingly efficient, they were skillful, very friendly and they cleaned up well. The price was good and I'm so glad I worked with Southeast Tree.

They removed 8 trees, trimmed several big trees, and cleaned up some tree limbs alone my property line with very reasonable price. They accommodated my schedule and showed up on time. Southeast Tree removed a large dead/dying oak from my property. Before even agreeing to use them, they secured a permit for me with no obligation. (Saving me what I can imagine would have been quite a hassle.) Access to the tree was severely limited, but the crew was able to drop the tree with minimal damage to the surrounding landscaping. Highly recommend this company for your difficult jobs!

The company could not keep its appointment to give me an estimate. I left work early twice and was stood up both times. After the first missed appointment, I called Collin and he said he would personally come the following evening between 5:30 and 6:00 to my house. I left work to be home by 5:30 and he never showed. If they cannot show up to even win your business, how can they be reliable to get the job done?
