Look elsewhere. Fast to give you an estimate and maybe even get the job done. BUT if you have a leak you have to call and call and call again to maybe get a response. First leak the guy who came out said "We found some rusted nails" WHAT? The roof is only 4 years old. Don't you use galvanized nails on a roof? I don't know...seems fishy to me.

I had a roof put on several years ago. Developed a leak and started calling around March 2019 after about 3 weeks of calling and no one showing up the leak stopped. The leak returned about 2 months ago now. Started calling again after numerous back and forth messages with Nate he stated I was next in the list. Then another week went by and no one returned my calls, as the leak continued. Week 4 came and I found their email and So I tried that. Nate responded stating that they had gone out the day before. Never called and didn't know where the leak was. Got an email stating my chimney needed

The process was well documented and they were always available to answer questions. This was our first new roof in 25 years, and glad we called J&A to take us another 25. They also cleaned up and left the property just as they found it.

I hired J&A to re-shingle my house in Boiceville. After my preliminary email inquiry, they immediately drove out to the house to measure and have an estimate ready -- which was in line with my expectations. I dealt with Fred, a co-owner, who was prompt and clear in all communications, email and phone, and we scheduled the job very quickly. The crew's work was even harder than anticipated because after removing the existing shingles, there was no plywood underneath, which meant they had to add on 52 sheets of 1/2 ply before proceeding to the shingles. This is one of the very few companies that I would rate less then one star. J & A put a roof on my house three years ago, and it has leaked ever since. Numerous phone calls, and at least five letters got some attention, but the people they sent did little and the leaks always returned. They don't know how to counter-flash a brick chimney. I should have sued, I guess. I ran out of energy, and came to believe that J & A couldn't fix the problem if they wanted to. The firm is simply terrible, and way overpriced. J and A installed a new metal roof on my home. Within months rust appeared on part of the roof. I contacted them in December 2011, and they have yet to take any action despite 6 months of them telling me "we will come out to look this week". Beware - they are not standing behind their product despite the warranty.
I am now going to have to take legal action so that they will respond.
Think twice before using a contractor who does this - I am terribly disappointed i them.
