Dale Rector Sr. began his roofing career in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Springfield in the early 1980s. He worked with several contractors prior to opening Dale's Roofing in 1986, which has grown every year since. At age 12, Dale Rector Jr. joined the family business and knew almost immediately that he wanted to make roofing his career.

Once you have made the decision to have the roofing specialists at Dale's Roofing service your roofing needs, our production department will contact you with the anticipated start-date, which will usually fall two-to-three days later. You will receive a call the day before work begins to let you know we're still on schedule for the following morning.
Most standard roof warranties only cover the shingles for a pro-rated reduced rate (meaning, the longer you have the roof, the more your warranty decreases in value). And there is much more to a roof than just shingles, so if you have an issue with a non-shingle component, you're paying for that out of pocket.

Dale's replaced our roof. They bid the job with quality shingles and were very professional in all our interactions. When the crew arrived on site they quickly got the job done and did a very good job. Very happy with their service. I would definitely recommend their company to others.

Never seen such an unprofessional and disrespectful employee! I would’ve called the police if I was there!
The guy did some work at my neighbors house, when he was done and about to leave he passed by our dog that was peeking above the lower fence and punch him in the face real hard! my 10 years old watched it happen from 15 feet away! When our pregnant nanny followed him to he’s car to address it he started cussing using very filthy language before taking off! Happened on Saturday October 16!
I wish my cameras would’ve faced that direction, it would of being a different story!

Have used Dale's in the past and will continue to use in the future. Although covid supply line slowdowns were frustrating, none of this was caused by Dale's. Once the shingles arrived tear off and reroofing went without a hitch.
After the job was done, noticed just a couple of tweaks that needed to be done. After I called the office, a crew was out within the week to make the necessary adjustments.
They even took care of filing all the insurance paperwork.
Cannot say enough good things about Dale's Roofing.

Installers did a great job, roof looks great, cleaned up after themselves every day, gutters and gutter guards look great, huge improvement. Shout out to Chris F. and Dennis who installed our gutters, wish I had everybody's name on the roof crew. And David M picked our project up midstream because of Covid, never missed a beat. Hope we don't have to do it again, but if we do, we'll call Dale's first.

I began in early April working with Dales for replacement of a hail damaged roof. Their inspector did and inspection and a bid. The insurance company then did an inspection and found many more things that need repaired. I could not get Dales inspector to return my calls or do a proper report for the insurance company. I have talked to several office staff members and a manager. We did get part of the work done and the crew did a good job although the office staff did not give them correct orders. It is now late July and i am still trying to get and itemized billing sheet. What i did get is a sheet

It was in the midst of a big rain - lots of rain. We called Dales because our roof was leaking and we needed an emergency tarp put up. Sam came very quickly. He was extremely professional, but friendly (the two don't always come together). The roof area that was leaking was steep. Sam saved the day. Not a single complaint about being wet, or steep, or in a tough to get at spot. Just smiles and courteous. He took pictures, and patiently explained what was happening - which made it easier for me to talk to the insurance adjuster when he came out. I know they were busy that day. But Sam treated us

Thank you, Dale’s Roofing! We were unsure about what roofing company to use. Our roof was in bad shape and had never been roofed correctly. Dale’s had to do a lot of intensive work to fix and replace much of our roof. We were pleased with the first crew who came in and quickly and efficiently roofed 1/2 the house. Thank you, Rick! The other part of the house required much more time and expertise. Brett Walker was the lead man for this complicated job! What a hardworking, attention to detail professional he is! The end result is better than we could have ever expected. Brett made sure of that

We had Dale's replace our roof and gutters.
They do outstanding work, the crew that did ours was very pleasant and worked fast, I couldn't believe they were done in a day.
The two gentlemen that installed our gutters did a great job, they look great! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was that they are not very good at keeping the customer informed of when things will get done. I had to make several call and emailed the salesman that bid our job. It still took over a month to get the job done. I never knew when things were going to happen.

I recently had my roof replaced by Dale's Roofing, and they did a professional job. I've never seen anyone work as hard or efficiently as Dale's crew, and they completed the job on time for a fair price (I got three other quotes, and Dale's wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive). I chose Dale's because of his Better Business Bureau rating, recommendations from previous customers and his quote which was very detailed. Hopefully, I won't need another roof for 50 years, but if I'm still around, and Dale's is still in business, we'll talk.
