Casey is quite the hothead ,over a year ago he was in a hurry to return to his business and made a right turn off of Fowler almost running me over on my bike while I was on the sidewalk. When i raised my hands in protest,he said,"Do you want me to shoot you" I immediately called the Police,as I take threats like that very seriously and I followed him from a distance to his business. Rather than apologizing ,he played the victim and had me trespassed. Not a very stable individual,that you're entrusting your security with. After making several copies of my house key at Walmart (which only lasted me about week before bending or completely breaking) I googled a locksmith and Carl's lock and key came up. When I walked into the store the workers were very welcoming and nice! The service was fast and great quality! It only took about 30 seconds to cut a copy of my key and when the guy handed it back to me I couldn't even tell the difference between the original and the copy! If you're in the Tampa Bay Area and looking for a locksmith I 1000% recommend Carl's lock and key!

I have always gone to Carl's for all my lock and key needs, and they have always resolved the issues promptly. When Casey mentioned that they install security cameras, I didn't look any further. They were friendly and efficient, starting with the selection of cameras and equipment placement to installation. It could not have been smoother. They have also been available immediately for customer care after the installation. Every response has been prompt, friendly and efficient. Casey and his guys did a great job securing our data center. We needed a new access control system and boy did they deliver. The quote came quickly, they showed up on time, and finished early. All around phenomenal job.

Carl's Lock & Key saved the day. My mother's purse was snatched while leaving her work. So the thief had our address and all of the house keys. They sent out Dan to re-key our locks the same day. As owners of rental property, we have used Carl's Lock & Key several times over the years. They have re-keyed all of our locks more than once. We have always found Carl's to be dependable and reliable. For our most recent service, the locksmith arrived on time, was neat and professional, and even re-installed a lock that was upside-down without being asked to do so. Excellent service - reasonably priced - highly recommended!

I really love the service from Carl's. My key is really difficult to duplicate, and I have tried many other places, and all of them cannot make it. When I go to Carl's, luckily, it takes about only one minute. The new key works as well as the original one. The best thing is that Carl's can guarantee the quality of every key. They will not charge you until you tried the new key, and it really did open the door. Even though after a few weeks my fiancé and I have just remembered we need to pay for the new key, but Carl's said it's no big deal. We really appreciate the awesome service and great attitude

A friend left town and left his front door unlocked, and call me from far away. He asked me to somehow secure his building. After going to the location, I took the deadbolt apart and left the exterior half of the deadbolt in the front door. ( I will add here that calls were made to find someone with a key, but everyone was out of town.) I called Carl's Lock and Key, and though closing soon, was advised to hurry over. With just half of the deadbolt they made me two new keys from the interior half of the deadbolt, and I was on my way. I re-assembled the deadbolt, locked the window I had climbed out

I am a General Contractor-- had some serious problems with some access card and electric lock issues-Casey and his men were knowledgeable and worked with a smile on their faces at all times. Clean cut-didn't shake up the customers at all. These guys know their stuff!!!
