Lin and Mick Ellis own Eco Friends pest control. They started Eco Friends pest control in June of 2009. Lin and Mick are both advocates for green. All licensed commercial pest control operators are required to learn about chemical pest control. But both quickly realized the dangers and limitations of so many of the chemicals used in their industry.
Lin Ellis owns Eco Friends pest control. She is a Commercial Certified Applicator and is RIS Certified by the Texas Department of Agriculture. Her license and certification go hand and hand together. They enable her and the company to come up with a green and organic plan that is beneficial to the client.
Lin's background is in animal medicine. That background led her to botanical pest control. Having first hand experience with exposure to chemical pest control and its harmful side effects set her on a path to find something better and healthier. When she started studying for her test, there was nothing about botanical pest control on the test, which was daunting.

Services
No contract required, and services are guaranteed. We not only want to cure your pest problems, we want to help your environment to be as free as possible of any health threatening materials that could harm you and your family and pets. Common household pests carry diseases such as West Nile Virus, Encephalitis, Lyme disease and Parasitic Toxoplasmosis.
Botanicals are Mother Nature's way of providing pest control. Botanical pesticides are derived from plants (stems, leaves, flowers, and oils or resins) and are considered significantly more circumspect than synthetic insecticides. They're virtually non-toxic to the environment and only low to moderately toxic to humans, pets, and wildlife.
Conventional pest control works but at a price! Synthetic pesticides contaminate soil, air, water sources, and any plant or animal life that it comes in contact with. There are deadly consequences that reach far beyond their original source. Acquired immunity: after a time synthetic insecticides diminish soil nutrients causing farmers and homeowners to use fertilizers.
When the company started in 2009, the look was incomplete - meaning no red dragonfly. In one of our first calls, we had a client who wanted to know if our products would kill her dragonflies. She desperately needed pest control but did not want to lose them. You see, they were RED dragonflies, which are rare.
Bugs come into your home for two reasons: they are foraging; looking for food and water because there is not enough outside-or-the population is so large they are taking over your home. We always inspect a home to determine why they are coming inside. We will share with you what we look for and what you can do yourself.
