This is an opportunity for students who are not going to college who like working with "The Public". A.E. Robinson Oil Company will work with you and train you in the convenience store field. A.E. Robinson Oil is a complete fuel company serving the Dover-Foxcroft area since 1950. We offer delivery of #2 Heating Oil, Kerosene, Diesel Fuel, Gasoline, Propane and Bio-Fuels.

Our service department sells, repairs, and installs heating and cooling systems as well as plumbing services residentially and commercially. We provide a 24 hour emergency service to our customers. A.E. Robinson offers fuel, snacks, full service deli's, and vehicle repair at our ten Convenience Stores and one service station in Eastern and Central Maine.

A.E. Robinson Oil Company Inc was started in 1950 by Alfred E. Robinson, with only one delivery and one service truck. In 1970, James "Jim" Robinson, Sr. purchased the company from his father. Jim and his two brothers began to run the company together, expanding with the changing times, now reaching more customers than ever before.

Had two family members with serious emergency health issues this week (one being myself). Missed calling in on regular delivery day. Unfortunately, today our No, 2 heating oil ran out. I thought there was still a safety margin, but the house started getting very cold. Called the Dover Foxcroft office in a panic. They were able to get a driver out quickly. He filled my tank and bled my furnace. We've used this company for years. We purchased our new furnace from Robinson some years back.

Despite being on automatic delivery, my tanks went empty after hours. When I called I was told that because their computers were down they could not verify I was a customer so I would be charged a $70 off-route fee and another $70 for a pressure test, plus the cost of the fuel, cash only. When the driver arrived hours later he was drunk and did not perform a test.

We just got their bill with only 4 amounts itemized. (1)Total parts, (2)Total labor, (3)sales tax (4) travel charge - which is a new fee never before charged for the last 15 years that we have been their customer. We are not satisfied with their business practices and will begin shopping for better service and better pricing.

Terrible customer service, inflated prices for replacement parts, will not respond to email requesting clarification of bill, etc.
Moved into new house with A.E. Robinson propane tank, but after trying to deal with these people and hearing all the bad local opinions, I am jumping ship to a new supplier with a good reputation.
Who has time for a company that doesn't care about its customers??
