Tonya was very knowledgeable about her original midcentury modern pieces in her store. We purchased 2 pieces from her and enjoyed our experience in her shop. Her prices are very fair and her pieces are original and in excellent condition.

Dropped by for the first time about 30 minutes after they were scheduled to be open on a Saturday. Doors were locked and no one picked up the phone. I’d call that a bad business strategy. Unlikely to make the trek back over to that part of town without reliable hours.

We traveled to Atlanta from Orlando last month to go to Room & Board. The woman we were working with there recommended a visit to Westside Modern, less than a mile away. Oh boy, what a beautiful shop. If I lived in Atlanta, I'd go in as often as I could to see what new treasures she has. So beautifully curated. We bought a petite Danish chair but I could have walked out with so much more.

I have admired and collected Mid-Century for several decades. Wherever I travel, I always seek shops which feature that design. I must say that coming from Los Angeles, I am frequently disappointed.
On a recent trip to Atlanta, I headed to WM, wondering about the Southern version of MCM. I must admit to being highly impressed.
The shop's owner spent much of her life in graphic design and it is apparent throughout the store. The pieces are displayed so as to get a complete understanding of each piece, but grouped so that you can see how to use them in your home.
What really delighted me was discovering

Westside modern stands in a league of its own. It is by far one of the most thoughtful and well articulated stores that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Each piece is hand picked by Tonya Beach, her amazingly unique aesthetic and eye for detail and quality can be seen throughout and the prices are spot on.
Definitely a must see, even if your not in the market for anything in particular, there will surely be a curiosity here that will spark your fancy!

This store is a place to find unique, beautiful one-of a kind pieces. The staff is helpful and the furniture selection changes often. It's a shop to return to again and again to see what's new...
