We hired Rob from Stone Solutions to create a fireplace in a dairy barn that we are renovating into a home. He was always responsive and his customer service was top notch! He worked well with our contractors and the final product is outstanding. He is a master of his craft. It was amazing to watch his creative process as he put our fireplace together. Its truly a work of art and I cannot say enough great things about his work. We look forward to calling on Rob for future masonry projects.

My wife and I contacted Stone Solutions Maine to remove a crumbling riprap wall that surrounded our front yard. After much research and receiving great word of mouth reviews we landed on Rob Howard.
Rob’s promptness, knowledge, and vision of our needs sealed the deal for us.
The crumbling wall 50’x80’ x 6’ tall had zero access to our front door with large rocks falling to our driveway and the street constantly. Our house was the eyesore of our well landscaped neighborhood. We are now the envy of our neighbors, with several stopping to admire and compliment the job throughout the progression

Rob and his partners did a great job on the removal of our old rail road tie retaining wall and the installation of our stone patio. The work was completed in a timely fashion and I appreciated their attention to detail. I had initially asked 3 contractors to provide estimates and while Stone Solutions was slightly more expensive than some of the others quotes, the experience and wisdom around design ideas was well worth it. As usual you get what you pay for! I'll have Rob and his crew back to do our front walkway down the road. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience. Rob helped us design what was needed, gave excellent advice about materials. He kept costs down by using materials we had on hand for part of the job. His crew was great! In the end he did more than he had contracted for, but did not charge for it. The result is beautiful, rugged, durable. I recommend him highly.

Rob Howard was professional, courteous, timely, and reasonably priced. Before we met Rob, we hired a different contractor to install a stone walkway at our home in Biddeford, but he botched the job. Rob was willing to come in and fix someone else's poor quality work. This is really rare, so we are grateful for his help.
He was also willing to write a formal contract, ensuring that everyone's expectations and understanding about the project were met. He did what he said he would do, which made it easy and stress free. I recommend Rob and would be glad to hire him again! Thank you, Rob!
