The built environment that we shape by our buildings has profound effect on people, ones who use these buildings daily and ones who never enter them. While creativity and great design go hand in hand, there is another very critical component to the whole, and that is "sensitivity", which manifests itself in different ways.
Often times client's ultimate vision, goal and need do not match their resources at the time. That is when AFHJ can help in planning the project by developing a master plan that breaks down the project in phases, in order of priority, that are attainable and compatible to client's resources. A Master plan can be just that as an initial phase of the project.
We interviewed Laleh Amirmoez when starting an expansion project along with 4 other local architects and chose her because of her ability to listen to our ideas, and to present new and often better ideas of her own. She worked well with our construction manager and met with us regularly during the project.
