AT SIEGEL & STRAIN ARCHITECTS, we believe the practice of historic preservation is a model way to document and preserve the cultural resources that tell the collective story of society. We also believe it is an important sustainable strategy that adapts and reuses the natural resources embodied in existing buildings.
Our projects have also appeared in a broad range of design publications, including Dwell, Architectural Record, Architect, ArcCA, Contract and GreenSource magazines. Books that have featured our designs include The Simple House, Materials for Sustainable Sites, and Redux: Designs That Reuse, Recycle, and Reveal.
