Jay has over 30 years in the home improvement & painting industry. He began his business during college summer breaks, Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams are among his preferred and trusted brands. As a lifelong resident of Scotch Plains - Fanwood, community is very important to Jay and when his sons were younger you may have met him on the field while he was coaching youth soccer, PAL football, or lacrosse.

From the moment I met Jay Griffith, I knew his was the company I would hire to paint my home. Room by room was inspected and a proposal was sent in 2 days. We decided to go ahead and we met with his color consultant,Terri O'Sullivan who had great ideas for paint colors and faux finishes for 2 rooms. The date was set and they arrived on time and began work. Days later my home was transformed and we are thrilled with the outcome. From start to finish, professionalism was shown on behalf of the painters who left our home each day after cleaning up behind themselves, was nothing we had seen before

Not impressed by the quality of work. If I had to do it over again, I would have hired someone else. Underestimated amount of time needed to complete the job, instead of doing it properly they rushed through and didn't prime what was promised. If you can't see it, they won't paint it. I was hanging a painting the other day and noticed they didn't even paint on top of the doors! They came back to do touchups, but didn't fix everything. I had to run around sanding, spackling, sanding and painting what they didn't do well. I should have paid more for better work. They

Once we met Jay Griffith and talked with him about the project, we cancelled our other appointments for estimates and signed with him immediately.
