Three sides of our backyard fence needed stabilizing after a fallen tree branch and years of wear and tear. This was our first experience using Steven's Fencing and we were completely satisfied. Everything that was promised was delivered. The quote and actual work happened promptly, pleasantly and much courtesy was shown to our neighbors.
We had started replacing a few parts of our fence and came to a point where we knew we needed help and quick. We were in the process of selling our home and needed to get some boards replaced for our inspection resolution. I called Steven in the morning and he was able to come out that afternoon. The work was done quickly and I was completely happy with the quality of work and customer service.
Solid Fence and flexible schedule - Steven did a great job on a small job. I had to re-schedule several times after we initially booked the work and he was quite patient with me. Steven's Fencing came on time and worked very quickly. I could schedule them for when it was convenient for me, so they were flexible too.
The cost of building the fence varies depending on type of the fence, on materials, digging conditions, etc. Usually in Colorado the wind damage is included in homeowner's insurance. Depending on the extent of damage and your deductible it may or may not be worth filing a claim. Also be aware that claiming on your insurance might result in higher premiums next year.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I am embarrassed I didn't see more of these reviews before we started working with Steven's Fencing. I usually do a better job of screening. To those of you that were merely stood up for an estimate, consider yourselves very lucky. DO NOT HIRE STEVEN'S FENCING. Everything that has been described in the other reviews AND MORE will happen. We even got a handwritten note from his helper, in part saying "I disagree with his customer satisfaction guarantee clause or rather lack thereof." Our experience with Steven's fencing repair started off very positively. He quickly responded and was able to come and take a look at our fence the same day. His wife came with him and was clearly the brains of the operation. She assessed the situation and told us the cost of the fence. At first glance they seemed honest and eager to help. They asked for a 65% deposit on the fence which my husband was a little suspicious about but I understood that replacing 7 fence posts and some fence pickets was hard work. The good news? Out of four companies called, this was the only company to return my call.
The bad news? We set up an appointment for noon last Saturday, and I waited around all Saturday afternoon for the worker to arrive. He never did, and never returned my phone call asking where he might be, and he is currently 169 hours late.
But in the end, it all works out for the best – I fixed the problem my own damn self and saved the money

Extremely poor service. Couldn't meet any deadline he promised he would meet. Clean-up after the job virtually didn't happen and there were tons of safety hazards i.e. nails, trash and sharp metal everywhere. On top of it all he was never prepared when he showed up and would vanish off the face of the earth for weeks at a time not answering his phone. We paid him thousands of dollars and the yards are already falling apart.

Steven was amazing. After calling several other fence companies, with little to no response, i called Steven. he was over to my house in less than an hour, and repaired all of my fence issues quickly, perfectly, affordably, and didn't try to gouge or take advantage of my lack of knowledge in this area. I will definitely be using him again when i want to do some additional fencing and power cleaning. he was awesome!
