Five years ago, our owner John worked for a chain moving company and was unsatisfied with the way they operated. From treating their employees like machines, and leaving a trail of unhappy customers, John was tired of working for a company that just didn't care. Born out of frustrations with other mediocre moving services Yes! Moving & Storage was born, a company that cares.
When you move locally with us, you work with professionals who have moved people in the area for over 5 years. Our staff all live in the local area so they know exactly what to expect. We have transported thousands of items and moved people into hundreds of new neighborhoods, chances are we've moved someone else to the same destination as you!
When you move with Yes! this will all be taken care of for you and wrapped into one single package that will include trucks and trained drivers to go with them. Yes! will handle every aspect of the move from the first location to the second, we even offer services to store your items until you are ready for them to arrive at the next location.
We have trained staff and specialized equipment ready to help. Whether you only need one large item moved or that item is part of a bigger move, we have you covered. We can dispatch an appropriate number of staff with the correct equipment to your location and move your item within your house, or to a completely new location.
College apartments and dorms can be a tricky move. From tight corners to endless flights of stairs, moving all your things into a new environment can be tricky. When you move with Yes! we will load up any item you'd like to take to your college, then unload at the new location and place each item exactly where you want.

We hired this company based on their follow-up. The estimate was reasonable and it seemed like they had it together. We paid for packing, but we ourselves packed half of our house. So they showed up on the day to pack at 9:30 am and were gone by 1 pm. We have a 2800 sf house. There was a ton of stuff left unpacked but we were assured they would get it the next day. Fast forward to moving day! Crew finally showed up around 10 am with two trucks. They spent the day packing and loading and then.... "We're out of room on the trucks." What?!?! And BTW there is a UHaul place literally

Moving is always stressful. It's nice to have a company that you know will show up and work hard. I used this company for my last move and they did well. This time, there was an extenuating circumstance and they were 3 hours late to move me. I was livid of course but at least the office was very responsive and updated me the whole time I was waiting.
Once they arrived, I was blown away. It was close to 100% humidity outside (felt like about 200%) and I lived on the third floor but these guys knocked it out. James, José, and Kade. They are seriously rock stars! They were tired and hot but

I needed to find movers on short notice, and was nervous after reading the mixed reviews here. But I had a great experience with Yes! I had to reschedule due to my closing date changing, and they were able to accommodate me, with no problem. My moving team showed up on time, and in good spirits. They were so friendly, and took great care in wrapping every piece of furniture. Everything arrived at my new house safe and sound. Overall, I was very happy with the level of service I received!

IN SHORT: If you want your move to be 6 hours late, to be over charged but promised a refund, and then your emails/phone calls dodged and never receive that refund, this is your company! Otherwise, run.
Before our moving day, I was very happy with the service I received. The quote was clearly broken down (I thought) and scheduling was easy and convenient. I was told I would be charged $298 for the first two hours and $99 per following hour which would be prorated by the minute. I was told everything would be included in that price including mileage and all supplies needed to protect our furniture

Do not use this company for any out of state move. They had a good price, and after them calling me multiple times to "earn my business," we booked them for our out of state move. We agreed on a price, I told them how many things I had to move to the best of my knowledge-- but no one ever came out to do a walk through or in person estimate. The day of the move comes, and they bring too small of a truck and about a third of our belongings were not moved.

I must say without a shred of doubt that "Yes! Moving & Storage" is by far one of, if not the best moving companies. Below is reason as to why I can confidently stick by this statement.
Excellent Customer Service.
- Not only was the initial phone conversation courteous and professional, there were also multiple follow ups via phone calls regarding arrival time, making sure they had the correct information, and a courtesy call the day before moving day. I highly recommend that you stay away from this company. We needed movers because our home was damaged due to the snow storm that took place a few months back. These guys show up and they are completely unprepared. I needed most of my furniture to be moved to the garage and the rest was supposed to be taken to a storage. They couldn't move my piano due to not having the appropriate equipment. They didn't know how to break down my bed. We get back from the storage unit, there is still things needed to be moved. I go upstairs to tend to my two year old and when I come back down. I see they

I used the company to move. My initial dealings with them were very professional and they appeared to be very efficient so I trusted them with my move. They showed up at my house at around 9:30 am; they had a three hour drive to my new home.
I walked the guy in charge through my home and clearly articulated what moved and what didn't and emphasized items that needed extra care and that the items were clearly marked as we were moving to two separate homes on one lot.
They said they would be loaded by 1pm I arranged for cleaners to come at 2. They finished at 4:30.

STAY AWAY!!! Everything in on his review is 100% correct and experienced by my wife and I. WE used these guys and it was a disaster, we had a written CONTRACT (that they wrote and signed) AND THEY WOULDNT HONOR IT. They EXTORTED us for more money, held our belongings as ransom and the whole time not not their fault. They were suppose to show up at 8am on Sat, well didnt show up till 5:30PM Sat. All day kept telling us they are on their way. Mike visited my house first part of JULY and walked through TWICE. This guy missed a gun safe by 700#. They finally loaded our out things minus gun safe

I recommend Yes! Moving & Storage. They handled our last move. They are responsive, reliable, and fast. We had a three-man team moving a one-bedroom apartment 40 minutes away. We packed all the small stuff and breakables and let them handle the big items. 9am til 2:30pm and done. Prices are reasonable. As with any service keep an eye on your estimate and hours. There was a discrepancy with bill at the end of the day but turned out to be an new app error. If I had not stayed aware of time and rates could have accidentally overpaid.

I needed movers in the middle of the pandemic and had prepared for delays or even a cancellation due to covid. They took great care of me throughout the entire process and also took excellent care of all my belongings. The entire team made the stressful moving process so much easier! I needed a last minute move from Dallas to San Antonio and these guys were very flexible and very professional. All of my furniture was disassembled and reassembled very well and all my other items were carefully wrapped and transported. All my furniture was in excellent condition, including my prized tv. Their fee was flat and very affordable for the excellent service they offer. If you're in need of professional affordable movers definitely check theses guys out!
