Kitchen Facelifts is the hybrid evolution of our background in specialty finishes, building custom cabinets, and designing kitchens. We took the inspiration to bring these elements together from our own kitchens. My name is Scott Johnson. My journey into residential design/custom construction started in 1984 (in high school) working for a local interior designer, and building sets at SCPA in Cincinnati.
I received my BFA in Set and Lighting design from University of Cincinnati, CCM. I returned from working for an Interior Designer in NYC, and started my own business in 1996. I designed and painted Murals, painted furniture, and more (see scotttheartist.com). The economy led me to join a friend building custom cabinets and then designing kitchens.
