No Hassle Fence

Contracted 4/20/20, with no information on start date for over a month! Email with 24 hours notice that they were coming to set up the fence the next day and had to scramble to get a hold of neighbors who have dogs and let them know. Poor communication should have been the first warning.

Signed contract for fencing with top cap and gate, measured by Todd. They started construction and hit the sprinkler line. Came home to find my basement window flooded. Not even an apology for what occurred, just aggressive language about how they "were not liable."

What was actually built was

Original fence was added 5 years ago by previous owner w/ No Hassle Fence so I went back to them. During the busy spring season they got us into the schedule quickly and paired it with another local project. We have a large dog so it was priority one! Crew was great to work, friendly and did a fantastic job (picture 1/2). The original fence after 5 years looks brand new and no issues. Quality of work is definitely a focus and it shows.

I will not use them again. The construction was ok but for the amount of difficulty dealing with the owner via email and his rude and aggressive emails and inaccurate billing I would have gone with the better reputation builder if I could go back.

Everytime I look at the new fence "No Hassle Fence" installed, I get to see and be reminded where the new fence didn't follow the property line and reduced the size of the yard. Todd sent multiple emails threatening to take me to court for final payment when the final payment was sent certified receipt and still he never picked it up.

I had a good experience with Todd and his workers at No Hassle Fence. The fence turned out beautifully. There were some unexpected delays, but that happens in construction and it was no big deal. His bid was definitely the best price of the 3 that I received.

We only needed our front yard portion of fence replaced including two gates. I struggled to find anyone that would come out and do the relatively small job but No Hassle Fence (NHF) was willing to do it and for a much better price than the others. The fence looks beautiful; we're so happy. There was an old post that couldn't be replaced; NHF made it taller and added a cedar veneer to make it look new and match the rest, very impressed with the attention to detail.

"No Hassle Fence" -HUGE HASSLE!!!

I have hired many fence companies, having over 20 fences installed and in this case I used "No Hassle Fence" because my contractor recommended them saying they do all the fences in wash park. I gave Todd Thompson (the owner) an opportunity I truly regret. So far the most unprofessional person in the construction business that I have ever met. The quality of the fence boards are so cheap they cracked and split within a few months (in my case Feb-May) from install. In reply to NHF's reply: You seem to be missing a very basic point - your written (or verbal) agreement was not with me, the property owner of the property you entered. The bottom line is my neighbor lied to you. I never agreed for you to enter my property and perform the work from there. I had no reason to contact you as I had no expectation that you would be on my property because, again, I never agreed for you to be there. More like "No-response Fence." They ignored my e-mail for a quote.

If you expect returned calls or emails, choose a different company. The fence was ok in the end, but it came with the headache of poor communication.

I had a great experience working with Todd and his team at No Hassle Fence. Since it was early spring we had to work around a snowstorm, but Todd kept me updated on when his team would finish the fence. The fence looks great and it will last for a long time. I definitely recommend No Hassle Fence if you're replacing a fence or adding a fence to your yard.

I had a great experience with No Hassle Fence. The bid was competitive and Todd was knowledgeable and very responsive to my requests and addressed a couple of issues without my asking. The fence was installed in just a few days and the installers were also very pleasant and seemed happy to answer any questions. In addition, Todd found some of the concrete work unsatisfactory and had it redone, which I appreciated. Overall a positive experience and I would highly recommend No Hassle Fence.

Todd was great about giving me options, pros and cons of diff designs. Bid was slightly under competitors. EXCELLENT workmanship and high quality materials. I will use them again. I recommend No Hassle highly.

Mostly good, but read below if you want some insight on the experience overall. I was wary when I read negative reviews, but happy when Todd went to my property and mapped out a plan and sent me an estimate within a reasonable time frame. From there, the agreement was sent over with a deposit request (1/2 up front required- check or cash only too- just FYI) I signed the agreement, sent it and the check back and waited.... it took a while for him to respond. When he did, the explanation about the weather holding them up made sense. Weather hold ups? No problem, but you should probably keep people

No Hassle Fence did a great job on my fence. I got a few estimates on fences and No Hassle Fence came out as the best value, and was able to complete the work the soonest. They completed the fence and gates efficiently and quickly, once everything was done, the fence looks great and seems really sturdy. I would call them again.

My husband and I recently found a fence we wanted No Hassle Fence to build for us. Todd (principal) went and took pics and measurements. A few weeks later we had a perfect an awesome fence. The crew was great as I said and the pricing was very reasonable we thought for what we received. Highly recommend!

Is the company out of business???

Two years ago, Todd and his group replaced a portion of our fence and our driveway gate.

The fence was completed in a timely fashion and the HEAVY gate was a concern from the beginning. To 'facilitate' opening/closing the gate, a small wheel was attached that Todd admitted was 'questionable' and wondered why his 'welder' chose to affix it the way he dis as it was 'sure to break'.
Since the end of November, we have tried calling Todd as well as emailing him numerous times to have him come out and see what can be done to

I live in the Alamo Placita area and had a few estimates prior to going with No Hassle Fence. Todd, the owner came out right away to give an estimate. He was very knowledgeable of what needed to get done and time it would take. Their pricing was very fair and competitive. We did not have an easy job by any means. They got it on the books and had it done by the time I came back from a weekend vacation. The yard looks better than ever.
