We hired this moving company (New Leaf) who contracts with other companies and assigned us to a company called Fragile Moving. This company is anything but Fragile. We were moving from NYC to FL. We were told 15 days max. It was a little longer. When they finally arrived, most of my boxes were crushed, my furniture was chipped and bent. They brought someone else's cushion while they left the doors to my curio cabinet. After multiple attempts to contact the company, we were informed that the glass door to our cabinet were broken. After some back and forth, we get the information from the claim

Fantastic experience! From the coordination with admin staff (thank you Anna!) to the crew who with obvious experience and expertise, carefully wrapped an heirloom dining room set for an interstate move to coordination with the big rig truck driver, we felt taken care of in every way. Communication was terrific and the handoffs were seamless. The dining set arrived in perfect shape and we highly recommend Fragile Moving, Inc!!

Not trustworthy. Do not use this company unless you have a lot of extra money for extra unexpected fees. Unfortunately I had no choice because I started with a third party moving specialist who contracted with this company. Fragile Moving tacked on then double-charged me additional fees (quoted a "long carry" even though they basically used dollies to roll my boxes down a hallway and use an elevator, taking them minimal time and effort), lost (possibly stole) one of my boxes (the contents of which which I stupidly allowed to be visible on the outside of the box), and was evasive then

They loaded their truck, then raised the price 60% in order to get it off! They caused over 40K in damages to my belongings, they were rude, threatening (being a single female dealing with these guys - I walked around all day with a large crowbar). They corner you, make threats, put "the boss" on the phone. Seriously, you'd be better off throwing everything away and starting over. These guys saved me !!!I We did a full service move that was not easy. A lot of over sized paintings (104" X 64") many a bit smaller ... sculptures etc. Everything was packed well and most important arrived in good condition. the truck arrived with 4 people, all hard workers; organizing the move very well. This was a really a stressful move for us and i can't tell you how happy we were with the the whole process especially with the delivery when we saw all our paintings, sculptures and the rest of our studio delivered in perfect condition.If I could I would give them 6 stars.

It should be considered false advertising to use the word "fragile" in their name. Over 40K worth of stuff damaged, and that doesn't include them upping my price after my stuff was loaded and threatening to keep it if I didn't produce cash immediately. I signed the paperwork for full replacement value insurance and paid for it, yet they never provided me with the name of the insurance company, rather they sent me to some 3rd party claim company. I have the DOT from PA/NJ and at a Fed level looking into this operation, it has been discovered that they are operating illegally. They will not acknowledge

Fragile Moving was selected by our move coordinator and I was very happy with their pickup service! They didn't wait around and waste time like other movers I've used in the past. Fragile moving provided me with a sense of security when I witnessed the very professional and handy job they performed for my daughter and her kids. All of her belongs were taken with excellent care and the movers took their time. So when it came time for me to relocate, I didn’t hesitate to call them to handle my belongings. If I could give them negative stars I would. I had zero problems with the actual movers were friendly and nice. When my goods were delivered, they were kind and courteous. When they left I found out my flat screen was damaged. I filed a claim and after 3 months it was settled in my favor and forwarded back to Fragile Moving for payment. That was over 2 months ago. I've tried to contact them several times both through email and phone. Then are refusing to return my calls or answer my emails. Where to begin... I went with these guys without doing much research because I was in a rush to complete an interstate move for work. Two factors made me choose these guys: 1) the point of contact was a veteran and he offered a veteran discount, and 2) he said he could complete the job within 4-5 days. Other companies were quoting much higher rates for such a small job, and much longer wait times, so it was a no-brainer.
The movers came on Wednesday, 9/19 and everything went off without a hitch. They charged me a little extra since I had more stuff than I realized when I was getting the quote

My family also used this moving company, and while most of my stuff arrived great, it was much later and more expensive than originally agreed upon, and some of it was missing, which I didn't realize until later. I wasn't there to keep an eye on any of it, so that's my mistake. Still, I would never use them again or recommend them to anybody.

The employees working at Fragile Moving company were friendly in person, but the prices they quoted were nonsensical. Apparently they price belongings "by weight," but never actually weigh them. Instead, they eyeballed the height and depth of my belongings, and multiplied it by some made-up number to estimate the weight, and then charged me for that. They didn't say any of this until all of my belongings were loaded, and then pressured me to pay almost twice what I was quoted.

Last month my job let me go. I was forced to move back down to Miami from Palm Beach and needed to move all of my stuff to my new place. I tried to come up with a plan but I can not lift heavy things and can't do it on my own. So I called around and found a great company called fragile moving, they took care of my items with the highest care. The price was pretty cheap as well compared to the competitors that I shopped around for. Thanks guys for a great move. I will highly recommend you to anyone I know.

I don't usually write reviews but I want to warn future customers,they will give you the lowest estimate quote but when they came to pick up your stuff they quote is triple and even quadruple than they initially gave you.When my furnitures arrive at the destination they could not even assemble it because all the screws and bolt were missing during transport! Some of my stuff have scratches on it as well...Oh! I just thought that they are TRUE to their Name-"FRAGILE" MOVING!

I moved from NJ to CA, got a quote over the phone for $1,500 then Jahaira told me she would give me a day discount of about $150, sweet.
Moving day comes. Driver + 1 man show up around 10am. They take a look at everything, go back down to grab blankets and start packing the furniture (bed frame, couch etc).
THEY TOOK FOREVER. At some point. They disappeared, so I left my boyfriend in the apartment while I stepped out to get lunch, and I saw them just sitting in the truck talking.
Anyway, they come

Having experience with various moving companies, because of my field of work, I can empathize with both the consumer and the company. With that said, when we decided to use Fragile Moving, we found them to be very affordable and professional. Our movers took the time to wrap, and cover our furniture and glass end tables. Yes, there were a couple extra charges understandably so, some things could only be estimated, but they came very close. We would recommend them to all! Great experience!

We recently moved our family from Riverdale to Hartsdale. We were looking for company that would pack us and move our things and not get charged an arm and a leg! Well we found it. We received a reasonable price based on mileage and the items being moved. Worst moving service! Our payment ending up being triple our estimate, and I asked the lady on the phone when giving me the estimate to over estimate. Once I signed and gave them a deposit they told me specific things were not included which raised my estimate another $500.000, and before I signed I confirmed everything was included. Fragile Moving, Inc. has been courteous and professional from start to finish. Michelle was friendly and personable on the phone. A very friendly and energetic Lola came to our home to give us a detailed estimate of the charges based on our inventory... and our movers called bright and early to advise of their arrival (20 mins early!!) -- punctuality is always a big plus!
The guys were professional, honest, hard-working, and very careful with our belongings- we appreciate how fast they moved everything!
