An engineered wood floor is constructed of layers of both hardwood and plywood, where solid hardwood is a solid piece of wood with no layers. A hardwood veneer gives the natural beauty and look of solid wood. Engineered flooring is typically between 3/8" to 3/4" thick.
Luxury vinyl plank flooring has skyrocketed in popularity as the go-to floor covering choice not just for moisture-prone areas like kitchens and bathrooms, but for common areas, halls, and bedrooms.Hardwood is the real deal. It is made of harvested trees and is gorgeous and can often add value to one's home.
Hardwood is susceptible to scratching, however, and will show wear, especially in heavily trafficked areas. These guys did exactly what they said they would. Price was great. Install guys brought everything - all the accessories everyone else charges more for - and got the job done in one cloy. I couldn't be happier.

These people are hackers. They are the ones that give this trade a bad name. Just remember people you get what you pay for. Cheap labor isn't skilled and skilled labor isn't cheap. They are con artists that have no clue what they're doing. Don't waste your hard earned money with fly by night hackers like guys.
