Founded by Sam Moore in 1985, Allgood Construction Co., Inc. established themselves as a Utility General Contractor completing projects within the surrounding Houston Area. As Allgood continued to develop as a General Contractor, we extended ourselves into Paving Construction and Pond Excavation services as the years progressed.
Allgood has established themselves as one of Houston's premiere contractors for Residential Development and Public Works projects. With a safety first mindset and the efforts to continuously improve our construction methods with updated technology and equipment, our goal is to build and present a finished product that surpasses our owner's desires.
Allgood works parallel to a safety mindset that no job is worth doing without taking the necessary measures to guarentee a safe work environment. With the OSHA Certifications of our Project Managers and the National Trench Safety Certifications of our Superintendents and Crew Leaders, we place our employees in positions to control the job site at all times.

Services
Allgood Construction was founded as a Houston Utility Contractor in 1985. For over thirty years, our utility construction services have included the placement of water line, sanitary line, and storm sewer drainage of various depths and sizes. Our project scope ranges from drainage improvements for public works, to new section residential development.
Retention and Detention pond excavation of various sizes has been a service that Allgood Construction has continued to develop to achieve the desired vision of our owners. By use of our satellite and equipment production tracking technology, we can attain the highest efficiency. Our projects have ranged from over 400,000 Cubic Yards of excavation for large retention ponds to 30,000 Cubic Yard neighborhood developments.
Allgood has completed the paving construction for four sections within the newly developed Walnut Creek Subdivision, including Section 14, 17, 20, 21, and a Collector Road providing an additional entrance from the south side of the subdivision. Working alongside IDS Engineering Group, the four developments combined for over 36,000 Square Yards of pavement, with the over 5,000 Feet of Sidewalk.
Allgood began Clements Crossing with the installation of the Water, Sanitary, and Drainage utilities. When we broke ground, we ran into an elevated water table that was not planned for. By use of well pointing, we efficiently lowered the table in order to place the utilities. These utilities included 3,500 Feet of Waterline, 3,600 Feet of Sanitary Line, and 1,700 Feet of Storm Sewer.

I have watched the ongoing construction of the widening of Gosling Road for months which was supposed to be completed by August of 2019, they have like 5 people at any time working on it and it is not even close to being done. It is incredibly frustrating to see the traffic problems on a sunny day with no one hardly working. Who is managing this project and who hired this company???

This company damaged my vehicle when I was driving through a construction area in Sugar Land. They asked for an estimate and I gave them two, they refused to pay and didn’t want to give me their insurance. I had to go through my insurance and now this company will have to deal with my insurance and their lawyers which will cost them even more.

I usually never write reviews. However, I honestly feel people need to be aware of this company. The worst contractor I have ever hired. I wish I can upload pictures. I hired them to replace my carpet with wood flooring. I couldn’t believe the finished product. They do not communicate effectively and left me hanging with a terrible job. They didn’t even offer to have it fix, nothing! I had to hire another contractor to pull everything out, buy new material all over again and get the job done.
