They have always provided the Washington State Military Department with professional quality work, especially with their fast responses to our needs on repairs with all of our security type issues we have with our facilities even outside of normal business hours.

In the number of years that I have been at Red Dot as the Facilities Engineer, Ernie is probably one of the best technicians in the door business I have had to work with.
Ernie has got us out of trouble numerous times when we have had issues with our doors. If the door could not be repaired immediately, he made it so it would be able to close and secure the building for the evening until parts could be attained the following day.

Do not use these guys! I had them install new garage doors 6 years ago and after the lift bracket snapped, I asked them to fix it. Turns out that the original installation wasn't done properly (as admitted by the tech), so both doors had to be fixed. Overall effort took about an hour, but I was told that I had to pay for the 30 minute drive in addition to the repair time...even though the work was needed because of their error.
Find someone with better reviews...you will be much happier.

Cannot say enough FABULOUS things about Northwest Door out of Tacoma. Hailey, the woman who took my call, was extremely knowledgeable about product choices and pricing. Nordstrom level of customer service....amazing! My other garage door (I have two houses) is Northwest Door and it has been in place - working perfectly - for at least 25 years. That is why I am getting another Northwest Door garage door. I did read the review below (one star) and fully disagree with that guys 'take' on their trip charge. I was quoted $45 trip charge for them to come from Tacoma to Seattle. Given

Northwest door is a tight run family business that has grown to be the best place for parts and/or information when you need it. I always know that I will get what I need at a reasonable price when I visit there. The parts or warehouse guy in back is a whip with information and knowledge and is always happy to make sure you have the right part for the job and the right way to go about it. The office staff is friendly and helpful, and will make sure you get the help you need. Overall a really nice place to do business. Northwest Door is an A+ business in my book!

I am a General Contractor that deals with higher end homes. We had a garage door torsion spring break on a home that was listed for sale and set to close today, pending the completion of the replaces torsion spring. I called the service department to verify that the spring had been replaced, I was met with a very rude individual that was of no help. She answered the phone in a rude aggressive tone and I was told all they can do is see if the job was scheduled. She refused to call the tech and find out if the work had been done. We had very good service experience from Northwest Door. Garage door had trouble not consistently closing. They were able to schedule a service appointment for the next day. Was given a 3 hour window, and service technician called within the first hour and arrived 15 minutes later. They were able to quickly diagnose and make the repair adjustments needed to resolve our problem and carried out maintenance on the door and opener. The service technician was friendly and communicative. Excellent overall experience.

I, like anyone reading this did my online research before picking Northwest Door to replace a damaged door. I went into the showroom, looked around and then spoke with a salesperson for a quote. Everything was well set up and professional until it became time to schedule the install and talk payment. Apparently the salesperson didn't feel like I was as ready to "one and done" my garage door shopping as I did because she stapled her card to the quote and told me to call when I was ready to schedule. I sat there. She told me they were scheduled four weeks. I sat there. She told me she was the scheduler

I called Northwest Door to get an estimate for replacing both of our house garage door openers since one had broken and both were over 20 years old (obsolete). Grace gave me an estimate for two Liftmaster 8355W door openers and scheduled the installation for the next day. Dennis showed up early the next day and installed both new openers. He hauled away the old door openers. The whole operation was totally professional and I couldn't have asked for more. Northwest Door has been around for many years, and customer satisfaction is the reason.

One of their employees tried to ram my car just to not let me get in front of him. There was room. This person must not have common sense because you don't drive like a agresive idiot when you company lettering all over your vehicle.
