Headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, Lafranchi Architecture and Development concentrates on commercial projects within Sonoma County. The firm's major interests include winery design and promoting the renewal and redevelopment of underused or outdated urban properties. The firm's services include architectural design, construction management and property development.
We've been building in Sonoma County for over 50 years and have spent one-third of that working with Lafranchi Architecture. We've developed a strong relationship with Ken and his team that greatly benefits our clients throughout their projects. We've worked together on projects of all sizes and are always extremely pleased with the Lafranchi team's approach and results.
Ken is practical and listens to both the client and the contractor, partnering with us to build beautiful projects within budget. Ken has a lifetime view of what Sonoma County is all about and how it has become "The Place." We look forward to many more years building our community together.

Services
Lafranchi Architecture and Development was founded by Ken Lafranchi in 1992. Though he earned a degree in Architecture from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo, instead of going directly into building design upon graduation, Ken decided to learn the subject "from the ground up", and applied his energy to building construction.
Key to any successful project are the design & builder team members. We were fortunate to have Ken Lafranchi on our team from the very first scoping meeting right through to the grand reopening two years later. His abilities are now legendary, from our perspective, as we watched the project unfold from doctored pictures and bundles of drawings to giant holes in the ground and then the framework of what would become our new business home.
