James Bryant has been a practicing principal architect for over 38 years, and has lived in the Seattle area since 1971. He served his internship in the offices of John Lautner FAIA, and also A. Quincy Jones FAIA, both of Los Angeles, California. More recently, in addition to his own practice, he has served other architects as a consultant in the areas of design and project management.

Deacon James, shown here with his wife and daughter, is uniquely qualified to design worship facilities being both an architect and ordained in the Holy Orthodox Church. He has provided design services for numerous church facilities including several Orthodox Churches and two monasteries. In addition to functioning as primary architect, he has also been retained as an architectural/liturgical consultant.
