He has an extensive garden in Kearneysville, WV where hundreds of plants are tested for hardiness, attractiveness to pollinators and ornamental qualities.
James has studied ecology extensively and incorporates ecological landscape design concepts into gardens whenever possible. Studying Horticulture has been a passion for me for over 15 years. Services
James Dillon, PCH has been studying plants and working in the landscaping industry for over 15 years. He studied Biology at East Carolina University gaining a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry. In his studies he developed an appreciation for the benefits of diverse plantings and how they foster beneficial insects, bring birds to the landscape and ultimately require less pesticides and maintenance.

James has studied plants in the classroom as well as in the field and is familiar with efficient and effective strategies for managing the plants in your landscape.
Using computer software allows us to share our ideas with clients in a very realistic way. This digital rendering helps clients gain a good understanding of the plants themselves and features of the design. Designs are produced in a custom way that works for each client and situation. Some deigns are small or simple and only require a quick and inexpensive digital overlay of plants to solve a particular space in the garden.
