Initially a landscape company, the entire operation was based out of a garage on 65 High Street in Southbridge, Massachusetts. A reputation for arriving to the job on time and staying until it was done began to build a satisfied customer base and gave Bud the ability to buy his first machine: a 1948 Ford 8N tractor.
Whether repairing an existing system or starting from scratch, we can provide all your septic needs from perk test and design to complete installation. Our relationship with town officials due to our reputation and longevity helps to aid the sometimes tedious and difficult task of approval and inspection.
At Soper Construction we believe investing in your community is a great way to give back to those who have helped support your business. Volunteer groups and nonprofit organizations do so much to help the communities that all of us are a part of, but they can't do it alone. Excellent company that needs to be hired! Soper Construction installed a new, modern-technology septic tank in our backyard after several other companies failed to respond or said they couldn't provide the services needed. Stephen was always available to personally review the project and any concerns we had, and would personally arrive to inspect things or if we had concerns at a moments notice, no matter what day of the week. His crew worked diligently to install the tank and cleaned everything up with great care when they were done. They did an outstanding job and highly recommend them.

Stephen and his crew did the excavation and foundation work for an addition we were building. Great experience working with them. From the initial phone call through the final phase they were professional, on time and kept us up to date on what would be happening when. He returned our initial phone call quickly and came out and gave us a more than reasonable quote. Work started when they said it would. Job was done on schedule and on budget. Work site was kept clean and the grading and seeding they did left it looking better than the rest of our yard. Would recommend them and would use them again

I called Soper Construction after another contractor we had used in the past failed to return multiple calls. Steve Soper returned my call the same day, scheduled a visit to review the job the same day, and had a crew on site quickly as promised to replace a 90 year old drain pipe that had failed in multiple locations. All completed in one day and put back together including grass seeding. I've found my new contractor for all future similar jobs.

We recently bought a home, and we bought it halfway through the build so, didn't get to choose our builder. Well, the Builder left after closing and never came back leaving our backyard a giant mud pit. Fortunately, Stephen and his team came to save the day! They were on time, did what they said they would do, and if there were any delays at all-we knew beforehand from Stephen. It was refreshing to have reliable and accountable people working on our project. I was truly impressed with the finesse and professionalism that the Soper team displayed which isn't easy. Stephen and his crew were amazing. They replaced a sewer pipe and right now I’m watching the crane guy shovel up the excess dirt in the street! Stephen runs a tight ship and his crew was so professional and they are all just really kind people. Stephens manner and character surpasses most. Soper has been so helpful from day one! He is very prompt, easy to get ahold of, and easy to work with. He even used his own personal time to meet with us at our lot to give his opinions. I can't say enough good things, one of the best decisions I've made during our building process so far was to work with Soper Construction.

Honest! My uncle contacted Soper Construction about some work he wanted done when planning to sell his home and they were honest and told him that what he wanted to do was not going to increase the value of his home. So the work was not done and Soper Construction didn't make any money on it, but WOW - most places would have done the work and made the money. So not only are they honest they have integrity. I have referred them often and everyone has been extremely happy with them.
