We are a licensed and insured company that can move you anywhere in the state of South Carolina. Not only do we know what it takes to make a move good, we understand how easy it is to make a move bad. A scratch on your new hardwood floor can make for a bad day. What about that surprise fuel surcharge at the end of the day on your bill?
That's probably one of the most commonly asked questions. While we can't predict the future (yet), we have developed a pretty good guessing machine. Use the slider below to help gauge how long your move will take. Keep in mind that move time will increase with variables such as stairs, elevators, a long walking distance to the truck, weather conditions, heavily furnished residences, etc.
Soda City Movers can move your piano, too! We have experience moving all types of pianos from a standard upright to some of the finest grand pianos. In fact, we move some sort of piano most days. We are equipped with "piano boards" and other necessary tools to assist with moving baby grand and grand pianos.
If you're in need of a strong back, extra hands, or just want to save your knees, Soda City Movers can offer you some of our beef-fed crew members to use for any heavy lifting or time consuming jobs. Labor jobs are quoted by the hour (does not include the use of a truck, dollies and moving blankets), with the price reflecting how many crew members you and your moving guru decide are needed.

"Movers who don't give a SH**" aka "We're fast because we don't give a crap"
I work and husband is disabled, so we hIred then to move a bedframe, a mattress a dresser and a few other items for son to move into room at a house near USC. Didn't give son a chance to put tape on boxes so they could move them, didn't take carpet and, most importantly, didn't tell son they were leaving. THERE WAS NO ONE AT THE DESTINATIONTO MEET THEM! Son needed to leave at the same time to meet them there. A little communication would have taken care of that quickly

I will never move my own crap again. Everything was smooth from ordering on a holiday weekend (thankful they were open) to getting the hell out of the way to let the guys work. I had 3 guys moving my two bedroom apartment. It was very quick and efficient and I only had one broken glass. The guys were friendly and professional. Everything was wrapped adn placed exactly where I needed and I felt bad for that becasue most things went upstairs. 10/10 would recommend and use again.

Chris J, JB and Jaylen just left after moving some furniture I inherited from a relative to my house. I could not ask for better service, they were extremely courteous and professional, they wrapped everything up to the point the furniture could have survived a drop off a cliff. They did not waste any time whatsoever and even moved furniture around at my home at my spouses request. They gave me a window of 8:00 - 10:00 to meet me and were knocking on my relatives door at 8:20 and had everything moved into my home by 12:20 and only needed to charge an extra hour. These three guys did a spectacular job. They managed to complete the move much more quickly than I expected and they were very pleasant, courteous and careful with all the furniture and paintings. They were willing to unpack my large carpet and place it exactly where I wanted, and same thing with all of the furniture. This was not a simple move as they had to transport heavy furnishings by elevator to the 19th floor of a building, but they were cheerful throughout and even fragile items of furniture were transported safely and easily. I highly recommend this moving company.

I have moved with soda city movers at least four times before and have never had a problem. This was the worst experience that I had with them. I moved in August and moved from a one bedroom apartment to my sister's house.
My first advise is to order a tv box!!!! The movers broke my new tv and it wasn't covered and because I didn't purchase a tv box, it wasn't covered! Even though they put the tv in the middle of the floor where they were walking and knocked it over! I admit that it was my fault to not order the box and not read the statement that said it wouldn't be

BEWARE. In the process of filing a legal complaint due to the negligence and damages that occurred during our move.
Initially accepting responsibility until learning the extent of the damages please know this company will make every excuse possible not to honor a damage claim.
Attempted to work with General Manager (Eric) any way possible to resolve with no success.
This is not a professional moving company; don't be fooled like we were and have your property trashed.
Know this company will not stand behind their work if they damage your property.

I cannot say enough about the crew at Soda City Movers. We used Soda City Movers to load and unload mobile storage units from our old house to our new house. Kevin Hunter and his team (Arnold, Crinshaul, Kenny) were the absolute best. The group worked fast and with efficiency. They packed everything extremely well into the units and were super nice to me as well as my wife and kids. They were easy going, nice and funny. After loading our unit on Wednesday, we made sure to call and request them for Friday and they did not disappoint. The unloading was even faster than the load. Never took

Extremely bad experience with this company. Could not recommend them at all. Workers yelled at each other all day. Quite a bit of damage done to my property, including a broken water pipe. The company is unwilling to do anything about it even though I only asked for them to pay for the $175.00 plumber charge, not even the landscape damage.
I know that some people have had great experiences with this company. I really wish that I had been one of them. I did not feel any concern or caring from management at all.
In my opinion, I would look for a different moving company.

We had Terrance, JB, and Tracy with us and they went above and beyond in getting our household goods packed into our pod. They shrink wrapped all our furniture and made sure everything was protected before being loaded. They also did such an amazing job loading that they saved us from getting a second pod. They worked meticulously to pack and then loaded everything way faster than I expected. Highly professional and very expedient. It was such a pleasure to have them here. I can't say enough great things about them. Thank you gentlemen for doing such an outstanding job!

I switched to soda city movers last minute. Had reservation with 2 men and a truck (which I've used several times before no problems) but wanted to get moved earlier in the week. Overall it was a bad mistake. The movers were careful, didn't damage anything, etc but their attitude was horrible. They complained the entire time. Blamed me for allegedly not telling dispatch I had a washer and dryer (which I did) huffed and puffed when they were told certain pieces of furniture had to go up stairs. Made comments such as " you need to tell me where this goes im not decorating your house

Thank you and major shout out to Tracy, James and Davion! This was our third move this year (long story) and this company and these guys blew me away. They had pride for their company, each other and what they did. They worked hard in the August heat for me and my family and we had to force them to stop and take a break. UPDATE: I just hired SCM again to handle all the boxes of personal goods for my move (last time I hired them to move only the big stuff -- sofa, refrigerator, range, etc.). This time I had Steven, Joe, and Tommy helping me, and I was amazed how quickly they got the job done. I love how professional and efficient the whole operation is, from the initial phone booking (they give you a precise estimate that is also emailed to you), to the timeliness of the moving crew (you get an hour window when they will arrive, and then they call with a precise ETA when they're on the way), to the work ethic

These guys were on time, on budget, worked hard without breaks, took care of our furniture like it was their own and packed the truck with hardly no wasted space.
Justin, Brian and Zach were our team and they couldn't be nicer to work with on the move. It was by far, the best moving experience I've had--and I've moved many times.

Professional, timely, polite... Soda City Movers made what is typically a stressful time into a great experience! Typically, my husband and I are screaming at each other about who needs to push the mattress more, etc. but not this time!!
Fantastic price for a great service - I honestly can't believe we're moved already. A pain free experience is worth every penny!!
