I have been utilizing John's Lock and Key's services for over 5 years for my office. John is extremely professional and understanding. I work in healthcare and John is flexible with our needs and works around our patient schedule. I would recommend John to anyone that needs this type of service. So I called John's Lock and Key, spoke to John and he said he had time in a few hours to drop by and to expect him around noon.
Lets talk about cost verses value. With the first, you are paying $5 per year for an inferior lock while with the second you are paying $2 per year for a superior lock. Therefore, which of the two is the better value? The one with the higher cost of course! Yet it is not just in hardware but also installation where this can be true.
In the past year or so I have received several inquiries from property managers in charge of large apartment complexes about deactivating master key systems. It turns out that the issue here is about hiring practices rather than locks. Sadly, there have been several recent cases where vendors working for property management companies have used a master key they were given access to in order to commit crimes.

These net 30 day credit terms exist between us and the client, as named on the invoice, and not any third party or parties. Although we always prefer to work with our clients directly, we reserve the right to send late invoices to collection.

John arrived on time and got things working within 15 minutes or so. He was very knowledgeable and willing to give advice when I asked. He even did some minor upkeep to my weatherstripping. I appreciated that he came to the door wearing a mask. Price was fair. If I ever need a locksmith again, I'll be calling John.

The lock on my garage door stopped working. I called a locksmith on Union Ave, close to my house thinking it would be an easy, inexpensive fix. Turned out a confused guy answered the phone and said it would be $110 plus parts and labor because I wanted same day service. I said it could wait for a day and he said I would have to call back the next day and ask for John to see what he would quote me. No.
