QUICK & QUALIFIED MOVING, is a locally owned Independent Moving Helper Service. We have a small core of well trained and motivated helpers that provide quick, safe, and reliable service. We have all necessary moving equipment, including blankets/pads, stretch wrap, hand Trucks, furniture dollies, plastic mattress covers, securement straps, and basic tools.
Our local service area includes Iowa City and the surrounding area (50 mile radius). Please inquire for long-distance moves over 50 miles from Iowa City. We have a 3 hour minimum for all local moves, deliveries, and 5 hour minimum for all regional, intrastate, and interstate moves. No travel charge for moves within 15 miles of the Iowa City area.
We do offer full service packing and provide all necessary equipment. Or the customer can provide all necessary equipment and will come pack for you. Intrastate and Interstate moves are charged $3.50 per loaded mile (one-way distance between origin and destination locations only) in addition to the rates specified above.

These guys showed up to help my parents move last weekend. They were SO nice. On time, professional, and great at their job. They packed up everything when I thought there was no way it would all fit, and everything made it to their new location in great shape. They were so friendly to my young kids that were trying to help as well.
They made what could have been a very stressful day so easy! I really appreciated their services and would 100% recommend.

Bad reviews. Lawrence advised via email that he would give me a quote. Never got back to me. Never attempted to call me or anything to get my information. I called the company number listed on their website numerous times all day and no one ever answered the phone or returned my call. If you are overwhelmed let the customer know. I decided against this company and went with someone else. Unfortunately this will break his 5 star review track.

Lawrence and his crew helped me move out of my college apartment into a storage pod. He was knowledgeable about the moving process and made sure to pack the pod efficiently. He gave fragile items like my tv and mirrors special attention when packing to ensure they would not break. I was very pleased with the job done and will be using quick and qualified movers going forward!

I was given short notice that I had to move sister out of an assisted living facility. I contacted Lawrence on a Tuesday and he was able to help me out on Thursday. They arrived, wrapped the furniture and had everything in the moving van in no time flat. Once at the storage facility, they unloaded and were on their way. Very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Quick & Qualified Moving. Great service!

Lawrence and his crew did an AMAZING job. It was clear from early on that the truck we rented wasn't going to be big enough, but the filled EVERY SQUARE INCH. When we arrived at our destination, we had other movers unpack the truck, and they were amazed at not only that they used the whole truck, but the great job they did packing it! I would recommend these guys to everyone I know (and have started!).

Lawrence and his crew arrived on time and wrapped all our furniture quickly and expertly. They were pleasant to talk to and very easy to work with. They moved all our stuff, including a 100-year-old wooden desk that's very precious to me, without a nick or a scratch, and placed and unwrapped it all in our new home. I recommend them unreservedly, and even though I'd like to never move house again, if I have to do it, I'll call Quick & Qualified.
