As a family owned business Sargent's offers you something very different from the big-box stores. Sargent's has a relaxed and personal atmosphere where you can spend time shopping, asking questions, or browsing our greenhouses and gardens. We owe our longevity to the wonderful and talented horticulturists who have managed our business throughout most of the 20th century, as well as our loyal and new customers who keep us going strong into the 21st! Discover our unique story here. In 1928, Forrest H. Sargent purchased the bankrupt Burnside Nursery and renamed it Red Wing Nursery, Forrest H. Sargent & Sons.
Potted trees, shrubs, and evergreens are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase, provided the plants were planted and cared for according to growing instructions. Replacement plants can only be requested one-time. Plants not included in this guarantee are roses, any non-zone 4 hardy plants, and seasonal flowers-annuals, perennials, and tropical.
