Petri Pest Control Services, Inc. is a family owned and operated, full service pest solution provider founded by Henry C. Petri in 1956 in Miami Beach. Today Petri services Broward and Palm Beach Counties under a second and third generation of the family in Brendan E. Cavanagh and Christopher G. Cavanagh.
Petri Pest Control Services, Inc., a full service pest control company, was founded by Henry C. Petri in Miami, Florida in 1956. In the early 1960's Petri's expanded into Broward County when Mr. Petri purchased a small pest control company in Pompano Beach. In 1972, Brendan E. Cavanagh joined Petri Pest Control Services, Inc. when he and his family moved to South Florida from New Jersey.
Born in New York City in 1940 and raised in New Jersey, Brendan graduated with a BS in Political Science, and then joined the US Marine Corps where he served as a platoon commander in Vietnam earning two Bronze Stars with Combat Valor. He worked in all facets of the business as a technician, in sales, and eventually in management.
As part of Petri Pest Control Services' free inspection, our trained technicians will perform a detailed investigation of your property. To complete a thorough inspection, we will need access to your entire property including your home's attic or crawlspace. Our team will look for current pest or termite problems as well as keep an eye out for conditions and circumstances that may lead to a future pest issue in your home.

I have continued to be extremely dissatisfied w/ the service I’ve gotten from Petri over the last couple of years. Lawn continues to look like crap & I always get excuses as well. Yesterday they sent the very person I requested them not to send to my house…GOOD GRIEF…really that was fun. Ants cont. to be a problem, they NEVER get the spiders or spider webs around the house even though they notate in their paperwork that they do. They’ve had a lot of turn over in service people since I’ve been w/ them. Time to change companies!
