From a recommendation from a close friend who used movers 95 in the past. I decided to book with them for my move from college park Maryland to Charleston West Virginia. Devon and his crew were absolutely professional movers I’ve ever used. They took care of absolutely everything for me between wrapping and packing my belongings.
Their rates are beyond reasonable and they truly care for each customer. Devin said something that really stuck with me which was “I want to treat the items in loading to the truck as if they were mine”. This mentality is what brings great customer service.

I paid this company to move my house hold goods from Portsmouth, Va. to Jacksonville, Fl. This was the worst move I have been involved with. The company tried to change my pick up date. The gentleman who called me was very rude and tried to strong arm me. When I told him to return my down payment, his tone changed. The movers showed up on time, the lead guy could not speak English well and it was very hard to understand him and the same for him. I could not understand his so called writing on the manifest either. They were very unprofessional.

My items were picked up in VA on July 9th. There was no communication on their part without me constantly calling and emailing for an update. Items were finally delivered August 24th to CO. Around $7,500 worth of missing and damaged items. When I have attempted to call their 1-800 number, no one answers and it hangs up on you. Wanted to give the company the benefit of the doubt that they would be helpful and attempt to fix the issues. Would not recommend these movers or Vanlines Inc as they were the original company I contracted with and was subcontracted out to Movers 95. The kicker was the movers

When they show up they pack up your items like they care but after that they don't really care all boxes for damaged, furniture broken, TV cracked, unable to reach the office seems my number has been blocked this is corporate fraud. The service is not cheap paying about $4500 to get lot of my items damaged and not being able to talk to them is very bad

While I have moved numerous times in my 83 years, none has come even close to the incompetence and thievery experienced on
this one.
Damage occurred to a dresser and queen bed. In both cases, hardware necessary for reassembly was nowhere to be found. I'm unable to attach the mirror to the dresser as well as the mattress frame cross supports. A 12" crystal vase was also broken. I did see one of the crew drop a box off the bed of the moving truck onto the pavement to make room for something else. Probably the vase was in this. Long screws used to attach the dining room tabletop to the legs

I just received my shipment today and am blown away by the service provided by Movers95. Devin my foreman who picked up my shipment told me that all of their shipping and delivery windows were based off of the day I tell them. That being said I knew that I was going to be arrived in NJ yesterday and had asked for the delivery to happen today. Isaac the delivery driver came thins morning at noon exactly.
They were upfront about when my shipment was set to leave and when it was scheduled to arrive.

Wish I could give less than one star. I will update this review on the 21st business day (next Wednesday 8/18) when and if I receive my shipment.
When I hired this company I was told that they typically deliver the goods within two weeks from pick up even though the contract said 21 days just to give them leeway. I've been misled for three weeks straight now where I was told a truck would come pick up my stuff within by the "end of the week". When I call at the end of each week they will either not pick up or say they'll call me back and never do.

The pick up team that loaded my items initially was wonderful, very nice, communicative, on time. The dispatcher that is supposed to call and tell you when your items will be delivered? Rude. Extremely rude. He hung up on me after getting called out on having made promises of delivery. The window for my item delivery time has gotten longer and longer every time I’ve called. From 4-10 days from earliest available to 10-14 business days. The service sounds great on paper, but I would NOT recommend. They’re not timely in the slightest.

I hired Movers95 for a small job to move all furniture from the first floor of my house into the garage for an interior project. I moved all breakables. This company moved the furniture out and then a week later moved the furniture back in. In the dining room we have a large breakfront that disassembles into 5 pieces, including a 4'x4' mirror. While he was disassembling this piece,owner Ronnie assured us that he knew how to put it back together again. I couldn’t find any moving companies that were able to show up with such notice. Movers95 was able to dispatch a crew within 24 hours notice. Their rates are fair and they did a great job. The foreman Devin came with two helpers and they loaded my stuff quickly and get me on the road.
I am very happy with the experience. I’d recommend this company.

RUN...DO NOT WALK FROM THIS MOVING COMPANY! As you can read in other reviews they are shady and awful to deal with. I was assigned this company as a subcontractor from the initial moving company I negotiated a binding agreement with. I got a call from a fella with one name..and a few days later a different name. "Prosper" was his first name. His attitude and unhelpful demeanor was down right rude on the phone. He added charges that should never have been added. Trust me...you do NOT want to deal with this man or company....

Recommend going anywhere but here. They will lure you in with low prices, then try and fleece you wherever they can. They told me multiple times that they didn't offer full value protection on a move, even after I sent them the federal law on the Dept of Transportation website. They finally told me yes, they do offer it, but it will cost the exact value of the goods that they will insure, over $13000. Avoid at all costs.

Terrible experience. Not to be trusted. Broken items valued in the thousands, and they offered about $10 per their insurance. We didn't even bother at that point. But with this review...I hope people considering them with think twice. I don't EVER write bad reviews...doesn't feel good. But people need to be warned.
These guys are careless, sleezy, and I honestly cannot say anything nice about them. Find somebody...ANYBODY else to move your stuff (if you care about your stuff).

A NIGHTMARE moving company run by scammers. I'll keep it short: They flooded our apartment, and 10 others, by carelessly hitting a fire sprinkler. They laughed (maskless) the entire time it was happening. They refused to provide their insurance information. They forged my wife's signature on a bill of landing with a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR increase over what we singed. They were a week late to deliver our belongings. The driver who delivered our belongings was NOT LICENSED OR INSURED. Oh, and they damaged countless belongings (tv, couches, dishes, bikes, etc) This is the worst company

Do NOT. I repeat DO NOT. Use this company. They are 110% FRAUDULENT!!!! We have just filed a Police Report and will probably never see our belongings again. They have been EXTREMELY shady adding hidden fees and charges. They REFUSE to ship our belongings without signing forms that allow them to access our bank accounts. They demand 1/2 CASH payment upon delivery. Save yourself the complete living nightmare and use ANYONE else.

I recently moved from Washington DC to Austin, TX. Coordinating the move the company was very responsive however once the movers actually showed up it was downhill from there.
Five movers showed up and the lead was the only one with a mask on. As he briefed on what they were going to move he notified me that they would all be unmasked and that we could leave a return in an hour. So in order to stay safe, we sat on the front porch of the condo. Upon returning I noticed that items were not treated with any care. Additionally, my hardwood floors were scratched from dragging furniture across them

I recently moved from Arlington, VA to Las Vegas, NV. I had a pretty low budget for my move and was afraid I'd just have to throw all my stuff away. I found Movers95 and they were able to move me within my budget. I provided the boxes and packed my own stuff. Movers95 provided the muscle and transportation. I would give no stars if I could! The movers wouldn't even unload the truck until we paid them in full in cash. Right after that, the first item they unloaded was an antique piano which they dropped and caused major damage (about $1000). The supervisor at the move wrote on our bill that this was their fault and told us that the company would send out a piano technician to fix it. Of course we couldn't get any of our money back on day of delivery, we never would have paid the balance had we known this would happen. I've used movers 95 twice. Moving out of an apartment to storage was great! I had no issues other than them being a little late but I was cool. Now moving from storage to a brand new house, not so good! Scratched and scuffed furniture, walls scratched and scuffed. Luckily the painter was still on site and could paint over everything. Also, as a paying customer I shouldn't be referred to "slim" by any of the movers. I understand that may be how you communicate to your counterparts, but I am a paying customer. Very unprofessional.

It was a long-distance move so I made the reservation over the phone three weeks in advance. Several days before the move they called to confirm, then they called my husband the day before and the morning of the move, really put our mind at ease with their communication.
Crew of four movers showed up on time and went out of their way to introduce themselves with a smile and a handshake and then got right to work.
Team was very conscientious and respectful of our belongings and worked quickly
