We work beside both owner and designer during constructability review sessions, making appropriate adjustments in design to accommodate preferred means and methods of construction, utilize the most efficient and sustainable materials and incorporate industry best practices. Resulting in lower and more realistic project costs and schedule durations.
KG Walters has a network of some of the largest and well known design engineers in the water treatment industry, but also works with smaller local firms who can provide more one on one attention.
Design Build or Engineer/ Procure/ Construct (EPC) Contracts allow KG Walters to take an owners scope of work and finalize the engineering design details of the project, procure all the equipment and materials, and then construct and commission a fully functioning facility.Water Design Build Council Study found a reduction in schedule of 12% and decrease in cost of 6% for Water Treatment Design- Build projects.
