The White Furniture Company was founded in 1881 parallel to the (then) new Rail Road. The property has now been converted to apartments, and the existing storm drain system was enlarged and re -directed. J.F. Wilkerson Contracting was selected to complete the upgrade that required closing US 70 at Fifth Street.
Many old, undersized water and sewer lines are being replaced with new larger Ductile Iron pipe. New services are being connected to the office buildings, new Fire Hydrants and Fire lines are replacing the old, smaller diameter pipes. At over $10 million, this is a large project for J.F. Wilkerson, and is a good example of our capability to take on challenging projects impossible for other contractors.

Must be able to supervise up to 10 employees, proficiently operate Excavators, Dozers, Loaders. Ability to communicate in Spanish would be a great asset. A.
