I am a landscape designer and project manager of landscape construction. I have designed landscapes for many residential clients, libraries, churches and small parks. As a project manager I work with builders, landscape contractors, gardeners, masons, and electricians to implement the designed landscape.
My landscape design approach is a thoughtful balance between creating designed spaces and protecting and enhancing the natural resources of the site. My focus is to blend client desires and the architecture of their home with the natural elements by using ecological design practices. I am very lucky to live and work in Ancram, NY, the beautiful town located where three states meet.
The Hudson Valley in New York, the Berkshire Mountains in Massachusetts and the northwest corner of Connecticut offer the best of rural living. I am a member of the Ancram Planning Board and the Ancram Conservation Commission. I studied landscape design and horticulture at the Institute of Ecosystem Studies in Millbrook, NY and Architectural Design and Drafting in Austin, Texas.

2. My design proposal will outline the design objectives, suggested plants and building materials. I will include photos, samples and project site visits so my client fully understands the design concepts, my services and associated costs. This is a site plan that includes the house and all site features such as utilities, topography and existing plants with the new design concepts.
