Southern Heritage is now Lanigan Worldwide Moving & Warehousing. Southern Heritage Transfer and Storage opened in 1949 and has been a local Jackson Mississippi ALLIED agent for 69 years. In 2018, Southern was purchased by Lanigan Worldwide Moving & Warehousing, another ALLIED Agent since 1955. The same dedicated team and staff now work for Lanigan Worldwide Moving & Warehousing.
If you need to move today, we can probably do that. If you require a written in-home estimate, you should call about seven days to two weeks before your move. We generally just ask you to give us as much notice as you can. Generally speaking, dispose of all flammable items, liquids, foods and other items that should not be shipped.
Access - Basically, how accessible is the property? The room to park a vehicle, the distance from vehicle to front door, the availability of lifts, how many floors the building has, and so on, all have an influence on access. Agent - Usually another moving company appointed to act as a partner in your move.
If you are taking electrical goods such as a stereo, see if you still have their original boxes. Round up personal documentation - marriage/birth certificates, driving licenses and so on.
