Having a well maintained and manicured lawn is a great way of enhancing the curb appeal of your property. Removing the layer of thatch (dead grass, including leaves, stems, and roots, that builds up on the soil surface at the base of the grass) in the spring. Deadly (to the grass!) insects LOVE the moist and protective layer of thatch and will often lay eggs and multiply within it.

Josh and his team did a fantastic job removing brush and ivy and putting down grass and privacy hedges. Josh spent a long time with me discussing the project and talking about my options, and was very patient and respectful while I deliberated. Josh is extremely responsive and has gone above and beyond in ensuring that the grass and hedges look good and thrive. I will be using his services again soon! The photo below shows before, during, and after.

I've been using Patkin for lawn maintenance for a couple weeks now and I've been very satisfied with their service. They do a great job at a reasonable price. When there is rain forecasted for my scheduled day they come the day before and cut so the lawn always looks great.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for lawn services!

Patkin mulched all my beds for me. I am very fussy and they did a beautiful job. They cut the edge of the bed perfectly straight and deep and used the right amount of mulch. I have seen other mulch jobs where the edges are not dug out and the mulch just falls out of the bed at the first rain. I watched them do my neighbor and I could tell immediately they were doing it the right way. Many people walking by have commented positively. The workers were very pleasant and professional and responded happily to any request. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them highly.

I couldn’t be more pleased by the extensive landscaping work that Josh Patkin and his crew recently completed for us. From our first meeting, Josh’s responsiveness and communication was excellent, and continued throughout the entire process. He helped me design the best choices of shrubbery and plantings for our space, and his crew arrived on time and did a great job. The crew leader, Greg, was knowledgeable and great to work with as well. It’s a pleasure to find a service that makes the process work so smoothly with fabulous results.
